Bebop bomb builds are hard to set up so generally gun is more reliable. If i cant keep up 5 stacks/min i switch to gun. If you can keep up with stacks then going pure bomb is very fun and you end up putting bombs on yourself when 5 people buy debuff remover

I still think Bebop is the most annoying character to lane against. Infernus(solo) and Talon(solo) are also annoying but the existential threat of Bebop hook is pure pain

@Strum355 Yes but then you're buying an item that competes with the highly valuable green slots, and it's a way worse item than what you'd otherwise build. I've had these debates before but "forcing" enemy players to go a shitty item because you simply exist is very strong. Same with Infernus and Pocket making people choose debuff remover. You've already done your job if you slow down people's builds early

@HovYoung I wouldn't say it's great, you have to compare it to it's green counterparts and there are a LOT of really strong items anyone would want in all situations. Debuff remover is a cool situational option imo and much better late(i.e. on Lash), but being nearly forced to buy a low stat t3 early to counter one character is not great. That's 4250 souls you can't spend on core items. Not to mention you're probably done with lane by that time, and Bebop et all become less of a problem individually. So you either get dicked down in lane not buying it, or you get dicked down in lane because you bought it and have no other items.

So, the thing that's kind of changing is that folk are catching on to the fact that you don't need an entire "Build" unless you're up against hard folk. You know? Choose precise things to buy and you can get tough real fast. That said, I think other people are still learning/stuck on figuring out how much to farm and when to farm it as well. I had a Bebop the other day, literally walking in the back lines farming all the lanes horizontally... was 15 minutes in and he was 0/5/0. kind of crazy. The guy was legit, not even playing with us until asked him what he was doing. He didn't know, we taught him and won the game... Friendliness aside, not a cool thing to do when you're queued up for the "harder" matches. Any ways, point is I think Valve needs to re-do the quantity of buy items/make them more impactful. The buy items help, but don't (obviously that's part of why the Demo exists; to help figure that out). Also, match making needs to go. Get back to in game LFGs/UIs to help folk find like minding gamers. I.E. I think something like Dark and Darker's classic lfg system/UI is much better than any matching. I don't know about y'all, but I'm so over the RNG aspect of the character choice and match making in any game. Let me get good at a hero and let me get really good with it. That's just how I feel about it though and my preference is; I'd rather get a team together by talking to people versus lucking out on finding a decent team that I'm also competing against for Hero choice... You know? Especially with so many Heros to choose from and most likely more on the way, I think that's the way to make this game more appealing. Use match making for casual, you know?

Sadly placing a bomb doesn’t give the stack, only if it explodes and causes dmg. 1.5 per enemy hit so 3 if two enemies are hit by the same bomb.
