Welcome back, mate.) For future videos could i suggest a couple of ideas: it's been ages since we got an abrams video, gun yamato and gun mo & krill would be really cool too and i don't think you've ever done those for a video

Post play commentary is an interestingly different flavor of MAST. Maybe an opportunity to do a separate Playlist remix where you can do things you can't do in live. Just an idea, anyone else have opinions?

Okay, initial comment at beginning of watch. This is end. Your post game storytelling is wonderful. This could start a series all it's own! Love it 🎉

Hello, I was the McGinnis in this game. A couple thoughts from my POV: I was the villain at the start of this story. I had swapped with Infernus into a Mirage lane, despite absolutely despising playing against Mirage, because I knew I could at least survive the lane while Infernus hopefully gets better fed somewhere else. So when I noticed (immediately) that Mirage was AFK, I intentionally didn't say anything to the other team and didn't attack him to stall out his death as long as possible. Because I'm a petty jerk. I had been queuing for a game for more than 15 minutes by the time we got into this one, counting a previous lobby that only got 11 people in it and canceled out, so I was committed to getting *some* gameplay out of my time, and boy howdy did we ever. Infernus and I were voice comming basically the whole game, it was a blast

You probably should have paused though, you knew he was afk and you “should have” lost that game. Congrats on your win but don’t be a jerk.

This reminds me of a game I had a couple days ago where I won a 1v3. I was playing Geist and laning against an Infernus; he was decent but way too aggressive so I killed him a few times and won lane in souls, but I wasn't able to take his Guardian. Then around the 14 minute mark I look over and see my Vindicta and Pocket fed 0-9 and 0-6 before disconnecting and abandoning, the rest of my team quickly disconnecting a few minutes later along with half the enemy team; all of them assuming the game was just a formality at that point. Before disconnecting my team only managed to get 2 Guardians in total, with the enemy team already having a flex slot and one of my walkers down. That was when I looked at how far ahead in Souls I was compared to who was left: the enemy Kelvin, Grey Talon, and Infernus, and I decided that I could likely win in a 1v1 with any one of them so I would try to play it out; I even typed into chat "1v3 time, let's go" lol. I knew that just pushing lanes mindlessly would quickly have my objectives overran so I took the next 15 minutes or so frantically clearing lanes and taking camps when possible, taking 1v1's when I knew where the other 2 where and felt like I could win them fast enough. I ended up dying eventually though, and by then they where able to take out the rest of my Guardians, 2 of my walkers, and a shrine; but I finally got a flex slot of my own after so long being stuck on none at all. When I respawned I noticed they where still in my base, so I ended up killing one or two of them and quickly turning my attention to clearing out my base and pushing all of the lanes to give myself breathing room. After another 10~ minutes of frantic farming, lane pushing, and strategic fights, I end up being able to take a couple of their walkers for my second flex slot; but then they kill me again, taking all but one of my walkers and weakening my Patron before I respawn. After this respawn I clear out my base and balance lanes again for a few minutes before i find myself caught out of position by all of them, and while I manage to kill Grey Talon the other 2 survive. At this point I'm sure if I was fighting better opponents I would've lost here, but they take their time going into my base so I barely catch them and kill all 3 of them again with my Patron surviving at 1/5~ HP. Hype flowing through my veins I push all the way into their base and weaken their Patron before they respawn, retreating as they do so I don't get caught in a bad fight. After a few more minutes of balancing lanes and pushing their remaining walkers down, I end up getting another good fight and killing a couple of them before finally running in and winning the game; after a total of 54 minutes, with 40 of those spent in a 1v3. Was a hell of a game if I do say so, but the Grey Talon wasn't very good and usually stood still while attacking so I only cared when he had another person with him. The only one I constantly had issues with was the Kelvin because of both him being their best player and Kelvin's Ice Path being such a good escape tool, so I only rarely killed Kelvin and usually was only able to push objectives with him dead. This game was around high Alchemist, but I'm a Jack-Of-All-Trades and have nearly everyone at Arcanist 4<

Sorry. I need this ELI5. What helped mast's team to overcome the 5v3 disadvantage? How did they win?
@ALittleMessi
@ALittleMessi 8 сағат бұрын
They were farming a lot better and had more farm overall available. Basically double the souls for them to each get compared to a 6 man team. The other 5 still largely had to split farm everywhere, and their minions being pushed into enemy base meant they were losing waves. This made Mast and Infernus essentially worth 2-2.5x each of their players, so value wise it was like a 4v5. The way the enemy team wins that is like Mast said, you 4 or 5v1 look for picks. They should have never been allowed to free farm as much as they did. Especially with that comp, they had so much cc and chase down. In teamfights Mast's team had the better characters and were able to magnify their impact with the item advantage. Items like Unstoppable make it *really* hard to cc someone and shut down an ult. The other team was just not coordinated at all and died to Haze/Infernus aoe

This might be the most insane game I've seen in weeks. The sheer amount of LUCK that the people standing next to you were Infernus, a hypercarry dps tank, and a McGinnis, some of the best support and obj damage in the game was crazy. Then the skill and balls to stand up against a 3v5, and win the entire game too? Jesus. Huge praise to you 3.

I also think that match made lobbies have teams of good people and not as good people. It’s possible that after the dcs the average skill on Mast’s side was just higher.

"do yall WANT this game to last longer as a 5v3?" Bruh, yall left the game to bait people to leave then rejoined. Even if I was guaranteed to lose I'd make damn sure I wasted as much of your time as possible.
