Ahhh your signing in NOT ASL as you are sogning each word as it said, not ASL grammar. May I also point out the English word "because" does NOT have an ASL sign. The sign you are usibg is from "Contact Sign" (used to be called PSE). This song eas one of the first ones I learned to sign. I signed it much like you did. A Deaf mentor watched abd had a lot of "no, that isn't right" or "we don't have a sign for that" or "too much English, think Deaf".
