Pastor Anthony Mangun and Sister Vesta Mangun lead this song. This was sung at Easter but we should celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ every day. www.thepentecostals.org www.whitesteeple.com/

I don't care what anyone says. No one can worship and praise God like Apostolics.

When all of our old elders have gone on, we will see if my generation loves the Truth like they did. Oh Lord, give us a great burden and desire to go deeper into this truth and plant our feet 100%.

Isn't she a sweetheart?!! I love to see the older folk praising God. It reminds me of my grandfather who would bellow out the old hymns.

This is what is missing in churches today. It’s what my heart has Longfore for years. This is what is missing in our country. If our souls cried out to God like that in worship, if we were shipped with our hearts cry like that, like we used to, in spirit and in truth with our heart soul mind and strength, instead of with such contemporary stuff/emotionalism God would begin to move again. I’m not saying he does not ever move in peoples lives, he does, but we wonder why our youth or backsliding, why have many hearts grown cold, well the enemy has a hold on us because of our music style in the churches. I’m not trying to be disrespectful I have had experiences. Ones too hard to talk about. My comment is not too hard to understand brothers and sisters for Satan was the anointed cherub that covers/he was once a head cherub who worshiped and wanted worship perhaps lead in worship. Wouldn’t he know how to take control of music and lead astray by modern music. I am not saying all music is bad don’t misunderstand me. I am just saying I feel and hear the hearts cry from downs in the soul in that deep Ville worship in the old music. It’s just not in the new music. It’s just not, and I don’t mean any disrespect from that either.

It is Sunday morning & the minister climbs onto the podium, turns to Romans 10:4, and proclaims "The Savior paid it all. We are free from those O.T. regulations & now are under grace through faith !" Many today believe and proclaim this same message -Yahshua (Jesus) has "nailed the Law to the cross." How much of this belief is true, however? Has the Law been nailed to the stake or does Yahweh’s Law remain in effect for His New Testament believers? Read more at yrm dot org

So, to me, it looks like Mrs. Mangun (the older one) has short hair. If that's the case, doesn't that go against your teachings that it's a sin for a woman to cut her hair (which I don't understand, but that's beside the point right now....)?
@asmallfarmhomestead36576 жыл бұрын
Sara Beth Farrow she's probably close to 80.....I doubt it's cut....it probably looks short due to hair loss and thinning out....my own mothers hair is naturally short but she doesn't cut it.
@alexisdavis33516 жыл бұрын
Sara Beth Farrow No, her hair is not cut. If you look at how she has her hair fixed, it is rolled under, tucked, and pinned at the bottom of her neck. Many of the older Pentecostal ladies style their hair in this fashion/way. 😊
@alexisdavis33516 жыл бұрын
She is actually in her 90's now, and I love hearing her sing! There is nothing like the Holy anointing from God and these old songs!

1 Corinthians 11: 4. Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. 5. But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 6. For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. 7. For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. 8. For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. 9. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 10. For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. 13. Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? 14. Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 15. But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
