As a fellow rider, glad to see that you are fine and well. Also, thank you for sharing this incident, it's been informative to many riders out there, including me. There are many point to take note in this video that many of us may or may not know of. Some include this that I notice. (Please don't flame me, I just want to point out to myself and others. But feel free to include more if I miss out some) 1) down slope, side stand, neutral (as mentioned) 2) parking beside/near a cliff (the only escape is at the direction of the bike when it fall) 3) testing engine on neutral with side stand on a downslope without front brake on (understandable due to fatigue and adrenaline from the fall, and sometime I notice that even on neutral flat ground, the bike will move forward itself, probably due to slight slope that I wouldn't notice myself) 4) not getting away from the bike when it's going to fall again (cliff beside, so there is no choice?) I personally have clamped my shin/ankle between my bike and the curb, after 5-10 minutes, the adrenaline ware off and I felt the pain and quickly get out of it, and it's just a 155cc bike btw. So I know the pain would be absurd on a hayabusa, clamped on the ankle, and hanging off a cliff.
Hi Ruriko glad to hear that you've fully recovered. As an avid motorcyclists myself I know that sometimes eventhe most basic things like putting the bike in gear when parked on a slope can be easily overlooked. I often tell others that my first broken bone and broken heart happened on a motorcycle. Thanks for sharing this video. I was once stationed as a USAF member at Yokota and I regret not getting on a motorcycle and seeing more of Japan and all of it's wonderful people and sites. Well perhaps someday, right? Take good care of yourself and stay safer.
Whaaa!! I was seriously shocked by the 2 accidents!! 😱 Luckely the second time you leg got stuck underneath the bike. Otherwise it could have ended really bad. Major thanks to the couple who helped you and the woman who took you back to the bike!! ❤🙏 I understand that you take some rest. It isn't safe to tour with a concussion. You don't need to apologize for this. I think we all are happy that you are still okay and alive. Very much love and wishing you a full recovery. Big hug from me and please take your time, Ruriko! 🤗🌸💕
