Yiheng already did that in a different video. The previous speed bld wr was 5.91 by Jake Klassen, now it's 4.10 with about 8 sec memo time, and Yiheng solved it with normal method, not BLD method.

Something I’ll say after actually looking into the solutions that Stewy reconstructed from Antoine’s video is that Yiheng’s solutions, even if they are for just 2 pairs instead of all 4 still seem more efficient and practical to execute when turning at top speed. Still insane for sure that Xuanyi is able to do that tho

The fact that xuanyi can see 4 pair while inspecting the cube in 12 sec is crazy, i cant even see one, cubing might be ruled over by kids and its insane, cause now so many kids are now dominating speedcubing😦

I actually think that that's his advantage. He solves very similar to how Leo Borromeo used to solve. Leo's times have gone down as he has aged. There is a happy medium between hand size. Smaller hands will have a disadvantage because you can't reach all the areas efficiently and it can be difficult to turn efficiently as a result. However, after hand growth reaches the happy medium if for instance it grows bigger it will get to the point that it's hard to keep your fingers out of the way leading to choppier solves. Ultimately if your a good cuber you'll get good solves, but the ultra quick turning speed cubers are typically those with slightly smaller hands from what I've seen.
