am32 with out runner is ideal, quiet, but you can just hear enough to tell if you are in a bind before you break something.

With outrunners, the 14p ones are super smooth, but the 10p one I have has a consistent surge in power with steady throttle. Why, and what can I do to make it smooth? It's not cogging, it's a power surge

@HolmesHobbies I've tried it with an am32 and a furitek python X, but have the same power surging thing going on. It's like a steady consistent on/off surge in power, while I'm holding the throttle steady as possible

While I know it doesn’t really matter provided it’s doing the best job I do see folks get easily annoyed when I crawl with my sw4 /revolver combo vs a silent esc and in runner I prefer to not upset folks and may buy a new esc for that combo

Hey Jon, I use sensored inrunner motors. I'm not a fan of castle due to how loud they are. Are there any other esc brands that you recommend for your motors?

None of my motors have ever made that type of high pitched squeal. And I’ve used Mamba Monster 2, Mamba Monster X, Copperhead 10, Cobra 8. None of them have ever done that with a motor.

@fonicgaming6787 how old are you? Could you hear it on this vid? The squeal is about 13khz which is not audible for many older people and some younger people as well. Its there, been there since day 1
