Best Superman parents ever
@markricci13615 ай бұрын
K Callan and Eddie Jones were a big part of this show being good. It was a different take on Superman with it being about Lois and Clark. Having Jonathan survive gave his parents the continuing role of anchoring Superman and eventually Lois as well.

@@markricci1361smallville did it pretty damn good. Unless you're gonna say that he was Clark, not superman...it's all the same 💩 tho!

I love that scene. He crashes to earth after hitting a huge asteroid and for a short time forgets he's superman. His outfit burnt off of him, by the way.. Funnest scene I've ever seen anywhere. His parents have to teach him how to fly again (the asteroid is still three miles wide, so still a planet killer It's going to crash into Earth the same day) Clark's parents take him to the edging of the roof and tells him to get up. He does. He has no idea how to fly ... His mom pushes him off... instead of flying, he just falls. The look on his mother's face is just the best... she raises her hands and you can almost hear her thoughts "We're doomed!" That entire show is just a gem. It's like the original Star Trek. Some scenes are never to be forgotten. I love the portrayal of his parents.

What season and episode is this from?
@kathleenhensley59514 ай бұрын
@@dianasigurdson9386 Season One, episode 13, "All shook up." "Lois and Clark" are classic Superman stories, with more of an emphasis on his Clark identity and relationship with Lois... I love the quirky scientist episodes most of all. I discovered the series here on You tube because I wasn't watching much TV in the 1990s. Well worth buying. Dean Cain has become favorite Superman... He plays the alien from Krypton ... in a very human -humane way. Best line in the whole series "Superman is what I can do, Clark is who I am."

This version of Superman didn't have an indestructible suit. His body produced an aura that protected the suit because it was skintight. The cape, however, was not protected, and it constantly ripped, burned or got torn to shreds. His Mom sewed the costumes from Spandex, LOL. It's all explained in the pilot episode.
