After 55 years of listening to the Beatles, I think this is the most beautiful song they wrote. It is is is simple and complex, beautifully harmonic, could be sad or wistful or hopeful or neither of these, and is unusually open ended. The void left by its incompleteness is the gentlest anti-denouement I know of in music.

Fantastic. Many ot the Beatles lyrics (not all...) were so simple. This in particular always amazes me. After you've heard one line.. the next is so obvious. L & M were true geniuses.

In terms of effort and results, the Analogues are similar to classically trained orchestras throughout the world performing Bach, Beethoven and Mozart! They've set a standard musicians can follow in all parts of the world to keep this music alive and well! Hopefully, they will bring their talents to the SF Bay Area one day, I'll be there if they do!

Because. Een van de fijnste van John Lennon. Lennon was onder de indruk van de Mondschein sonate van Beethoven en hij schreef Because als een vingeroefening om Beethovens compositie beter te begrijpen. Hoe groot kun je zijn.. Weer een geweldige performance van The Analogues. Pet af hoor.
