10 minute workouts in my PJs with swarming small children is the ONLY way I’ve been consistent - and those seemingly measly 10 minutes make such a difference ! You go

The pressure to wear workout clothes first thing in the morning and workout during the 1 hour before the kids wake up is real! Your morning routine actually feels doable for me 😭🙌

Yesss, I feel it too! I’m so grateful she shared this. It’s so comforting to know other Momma work out in jammies too and it still counts! I know that sounds silly but wow society pressures. Please Christ, not the world 😊

I’ve been working out at home since my son was born 6 yrs ago and I’m stronger and more muscular than I’ve ever been in my life. My son also loves to “work out” with me lol. I agree that it’s good for our kids to see us prioritize our health😊

This was so encouraging! My daughter is four now, and ever since she’s been born, I’ve been telling myself I need to get up early so I can get x, y, and z done before she wakes up, but I get so discouraged thinking there’s no way I can do it all before she wakes up, so I end up not even trying. This was such a good reminder that I don’t have to do it all - my “morning routine” doesn’t have to end just because she’s awake. Duh! 🤦🏻♀️
@AmeliaUnleashed2 ай бұрын
I feel you about the working out! I used to see it as focused, quiet time, self care before kids too. I like your perspective change, now it’s mamas movement time while the kids move and play. Doesn’t have to be ideal to work! I will have to try this! ✨ and YES pjs. Great idea!

I have been trying to do this for about a year and a half but I have given up trying to wake earlier than my oldest (3yo). I tried 6am for a while only to have him always wake up either with me or within the first 15 minutes after. The few times I tried 5am he would already be sitting at the top of the stairs, ready to throw his first demands at me. My little one is 1 now and she has always loved her sleep - but recently her brother has started turning on the big light whenever he gets up to leave their room, leaving her in a bright room. He was my first baby and he's a lovely boy overall - but he was not put on this earth to please anybody, it seems, and from the first to the last moment of him being awake our day is a complete whirlwind. And if I wake up early, it that chaos just starts earlier too. So I have finally surrendered my mornings to them for now 😪

I’m not a usual ‘commenter,’ but this video was so good! We have 3 little kids who are 5 years and under and I forgot how much I enjoy getting up before them to drink my coffee and read my Bible. Thank you - will be getting up early tomorrow! 🎉❤

Another mom who exercises in pjs here 🙋🏽♀️ I’m a pregnant mom of 3 (pregnant with girl #3 and mom of 1 boy like yourself! 😊) Thank you for reminding me that it’s normal to want to sleep in when pregnant and during the first months of the newborn stage. I’ve been feeling SO guilty for sleeping in and surrendering to the mess so I can prioritize sleep. I really needed this message today. New subscriber, thanks so much for your honesty 💕

Your videos are so inspirational to me, and they really get me motivated. I love how practical and to-the-point your tips are. As a mom to a toddler, expecting my second, still working part-time (and maybe picking up some extra remote work on the side soon to contribute more financially) I get SO overwhelmed at the thought of my next baby coming up and how I will possibly have any semblance of a life or routine. I love how you find ways to get it all done without offloading tasks or depending too much on others for help - sometimes we just can’t do that and have to learn to be self-sufficient. It’s been a huge mental and physical challenge for me but seeing your content has been a big consolation. Thank you!

This video is so relatable. I’m now 4 months postpartum with my 3rd baby and if I’m going to work out at home, more times than not, it’s in pj’s too. This time around I’m leaning into getting things done, even if it’s not perfect or ideal and being happy with “good enough”. It’s a busy season of life that we’re in and I’m focusing on progress over perfection and contentment in that, instead of frustration. You’re doing great, mama!

I am in the best shape because of the consistency of working out at home, its more convenient and i actually keep up with it. I dont do anything crazy, i walk a lot as well. Occasionally ill throw in a super energetic hiit routine depending on my body and cycle. But overall i do a routine in my pjs too and my body loves the movement! Then combine that with moving all day long chasing kids and cleaning, cooking, getting outside...i have been feeling good! Loved this video! Something i have been wanting to do but put off is not having my coffee as soon as i open eyes 😶 your routine has inspired me to start tomorrow. I do feel the effects of it now that im getting older. I think food first would help, a slow wake up.

“I don’t really drink much caffeine” yes uses espresso machine multiple times a day. There is a lot more caffeine in 1 espresso than 2 cups of coffee
@tarrynpitts65383 ай бұрын
I actually love having a shot of espresso with milk because it is around 65 mg of caffeine which is way less than my pour over cup of coffee. My normal cup of coffee from a pour over is definitely more towards 100 mg to 120mg. Espresso really isn't that bad. I do believe she mixes the beans with a water processed decaf to cut back on caffeine as well.
