I sing this song at karaoke and let me tell you it takes a lot of practice to get the breathing down so you don’t run out of air to match the studio recording and I’m glad to see that beck has the same problem. I have mastered it and it’s always a crowd favorite.

I saw Beck and this band two days before this TV performance was recorded. It was at the Astoria in London, 28 November 1994, when he played Protein Summer. Good times! Beck / Joey Waronker (drums) / Dave Gomez (bass) / Lance Hahn (guitar) [RIP Lance 1967-2007]

This was a live tv show in France called Nulle part ailleurs (nowhere else). Every evening on Canal +, the best bands were here live. If you look on internet, the smashing went here, Aerosmith, pj harvey, Deftones, Bjork, Oasis, Buckley (hallelujah and grace) etc. And of course, the three songs by Nirvana (Rape me, Penny royaltea and Drain you with the fabulous scream and the broken guitar).
