I've never seen a really young Beck, even tho he's aged nicely, I didn't recognize him at first. I didn't actually start listening to his music until about 4yrs ago, I remember being in 6th grade when I heard my first Beck song, Devil's Haircut, I haven't heard that song in years now, had no idea it was a nod to The Misfits.

This is indeed a classic. I remember seeing this when it first aired and the image of him throwing the shoe stuck in my head. I did remember it wrong, though. In my memory he did this while being interviewed by Barbara Walters. Still, Thurston Moore helping to generate the tangible hipster aggression in the air more than makes up for my faulty memory.
