Beckermet Slab - HVD 4a * - The Roaches - Staffordshire Peak District

Welcome back to Up and Around,
We have returned to The Roaches, in the Staffordshire Peak District, on a fine late summer day, on a club weekend trip with members of the BMSCMC.

We’re here to do some club climbing at this magnificent gritstone venue, and are staying in the Don Whillans Memorial Hut at the base of the crag.
We have moved to the upper tier to climb Beckemet Slab which is a HVD 4a * climb.
For those who are not familiar with the British climb grading system, I have included a short description with this video.
