That was very relaxing, the real time sketch is a reminder for me, I often feel the preassure to draw fast and well (just to end with a mess), and I forget that is about enjoying the moment 😅

I like the way you minimise the lines naturally, and fill in the gaps with the colours.

Thank you for sharing. I like how you simplify a scene. I'm trying to remember all that I learn from watching your videos. I like your hair cut!

HAHAAHA OMG I was just scrolling through KZbin trying to find some ink artist blogs since I had been reminded of my ink+watercolor art and I see this and obviously caught my eye because it's so similar to mine, but I saved it to watch later and continued to scroll, but as I was continuing to scroll I realized, hey that looks a lot like home... So ofc I went and did a double take at the thumbnail and realized IT IS HOME XD absolutely surprises me everytime when I see something to do with Vancouver, but this video is even more cooler to me because of the art style, exactly like what I did during '22! Thanks for sharing this vid, I'm very much enjoying it!

That was very helpful to see you draw and paint in real time, in addition to the 4x faster. It was good to see how long you actually take drawing each line and applying colors, and even just soaking in the scene in front of you. Thank you! After watching one of your videos earlier this week, I took my sketchbook outside for an hour or so and had a wonderful time drawing/painting our house. :-) Can't wait to work outside again soon! Thank you for your videos! You are an inspiration, and I'm learning a lot! :-)

Hi dear Becky ! What a charming painting with such a fresh color palette ! The orange reflections really created a lovely effect in the water ! I am familiar with that scene as I see our Freeport everyday but never imagine how to try and sketch it, so this video is really helpful for me as I might give it a go and sketch it in the near future ! I love ships and boats so this sketch is a favorite for sure ! Thank you once again for sharing and always fun to watch you sketch and paint ! Have a lovely week .... I will join you on your next trip !! Warmest regards ... Lorraine 🤗💕🥰🎨

Thank you so much for your appreciation, Lorraine! 🥰 Ohh I have been to Freeport a few years ago on a cruise ship around the Bahamas! Miss the days before covid.

Hi! Often, when I come home, I want to draw, and it's dark outside and there is no natural light anymore. Do you draw at home with the lamps' light?
@BeckyCao2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I draw at home with lamp light, usually the things in my kitchen 😀
