Button up refers to a shirt without a button on the collar. Button on the collar shirts are called button down, as in, the collar gets buttoned down. You get better hits on a button down, correctly listed. This tiny tip helped me so much when I was starting.

Great haul! I have that blue/white striped Athleta dress and I can't give it away, I hope yours sells super quick! I am also in the Midwest - Missouri and when I thrift there is so much Silver, Miss Me and American Eagle...the only saving grace is that I'm in a college town so when they move out and donate stuff there are usually better brands. Awesome haul. About the Matlida Jane, you may have had a few Matilda Jane sellers/ (like lularoe) in your area, so that might be a part of several different sizes that you came across. I have been to a number of garage sales, and at the same house, there would be dresses from xs to xxl in women's sizes.

The Modcloth skirt elastic has rolled. Some manufactures use the cheaper elastic to reduce costs. Non-roll elastic is the best. Even if you roll it straight it will roll again. I had the grief of dealing with that! 🤨

Cool haul Becky! I've always been curious...what happens if you consign with a store and then they have a sale like this? Do you still get paid? Is it stuff that people just never pick up? Just wondering how it works. As far as I know our one consignment store never has sales and the prices usually seem un-resellable if you know what I mean.

That’s a great question! I’m not entirely sure. I think they might get SOMETHING, which is why they still collect the tag. But yeah-not sure. And that’s sad regarding your consignment store. You should casually ask them what they do with items that don’t sell, because at some point, they have to move out old inventory. My consignment stores take whatever didn’t sell to a local thrift store after this huge birthday sale.
