Awh, thank you so much. Where is your funeral home based? My family owns funeral homes in Staffordshire. I’m lucky as I get to make the flowers for the families. I can totally imagine your stress doing the flowers as well, but that’s some good going! Xx

Thank you sooo much Jem.. You’ve helped me to do a friends funeral flowers..The main problem I had was sourcing the flowers, all the whole sellers are for trade only.. 😊❤😊

i have used the pre-pleated ribbon before and its just so handy! the cricket bat tribute is ace! instead of using the moss, perhaps fake grass might work or artificial moss?

Beautiful work. Can i ask how do you keep your flowers? Do you have a cooler?
@jemsfloralstudiotheacademy70914 ай бұрын
I don’t have a cooler. In the summer in England when the temperature is hot. I will use an air conditioning unit xx

Amazing work. Another great video with lots of tips! You are a great teacher! How do you price your wedding bouquets please? And the big cream skirt bouquet, what would you charge for that round about? Thanks in advance :)
@jemsfloralstudiotheacademy70914 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that 💕 For wedding bouquets I have set prices that I know will cover the cost of any flowers. I usually use more expensive roses in bridal bouquets so I always keep this in mind. My bridal bouquets start at £120, but if someone literally just wants a bridal bouquet and doesn’t mind what does into it. I price this at the same mark up I do for my other flowers (3x) and don’t use the more expensive flowers. For the skirts, I charge an additional £6 Xxx

Thanks for sharing 💗 did u wet the moss base1st Jem.xx
@jemsfloralstudiotheacademy70914 ай бұрын
Hey babes! I didn’t wet the base first, but you can do. I find it very heavy to do this so I just spritz the moss with water spray before it goes out xx

Great tutorial. Can l ask what filler flowers you would use for small bridesmaids bouquets, we are using white roses and gyp so far, thanks in advance:)
@jemsfloralstudiotheacademy70914 ай бұрын
Thank you! I would stick with just white roses and gyp for bridesmaids, simple and classy. If you want to you can layer a few eucalyptus stems around the outside of the bouquet, but just gyp and roses are enough. If you did want to put something extra in as a filler flower- for the shape I would recommend spray roses or eustoma xx

Hi have you thought about using AstroTurf instead on the moss?
@jemsfloralstudiotheacademy70912 ай бұрын
I have actually but never done it! I will try it next time 😍 xx
@suzanneharper48774 ай бұрын
Could you use fake grass? Would it give the same result? Minus the bugs😂😂
@jemsfloralstudiotheacademy70914 ай бұрын
Yes, some people use fake grass. It actually looks really nice. I’ll be doing that next time! Haha xx

How long the flowers can be kept without refrigerating or putting in a cold place? Does it even possible to keep them fresh?
@jemsfloralstudiotheacademy70914 ай бұрын
@@tach4473 It depends where you are in the world. I wouldn’t leave the flowers out for more than 2 days before they are sold xx
