Just to add on, that Swift, In addition to Apples ( iOS, macOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS, and CarPlay ). is also used in the Backend with Vapor. Ported to Linux ( Ubuntu, CentOS, Amazon Linux (AWS), Red Hat ) Also ported to Windows 10. Swift Game development via Godot game engine. Web development with Swift WebAssembly. Also for Embedded systems with MicroSwift which is under development.

This is a gr8 video on intro & prerequisites to iOS. Regarding the query on supply & demand, I think some big companies are aggressively going towards adopting cross-platform solutions just to cater to cost... but by doing this, I think they are seriously compromising on apple user experience and in some cases security. Lets see how this space works out. If you ask me, I will always suggest to develop apps in respective native technology.
