Greco-Roman world, from which Christianity emerged, was filled with tales of gods procreating with human women and begetting god-men. Here Justin Martyr is telling Roman pagans that what the Christians believe about Jesus being the son of God is nothing different than what they believe about the sons of god Jupiter.

The Lord had been calling me into nursing for a while but I was constantly digging my heels in the dirt because I felt so unqualified and like I could never do that job. 2 years ago I finally listened to him, finished my prereqs, was accepted into a highly competitive school on my first try and I’m currently almost halfway through school. God had seriously blessed me on this journey and brought so much fruit into my life. I am SO grateful I listened to Him 🧡 I’m continuing to trust Him and I can’t wait to see where He brings me. I’ve felt convicted to leave my job. Where I work their morals differ vastly from mine. I’ve asked God for signs to why I should leave and I felt the urgency to watch your videos. The very first minute of this video, I felt the Holy Spirit move within me, and a weight lifted off of my shoulders. I’ve made my decision to pursue a career with a company or industry that aligns with my Christian values. Your blessed words have moved me and I feel peace with my decision. (Of course I will search for a job first before quitting) but I will be praying and applying like crazy. i just finished watching this video for the third time. i am so drawn to watching this, i can't get enough! i had my husband watch with me last night too. Brittany, thank you as always for letting the Lord use you and speak through you. I cannot tell you how much I needed to hear this. I didn't even realize I had stopped dreaming with God. I don’t know if you have the ability to read my comment or not amongst the many others, but I wanted to share with you that last month I decided to try the 30 day challenge and I actually in reality only was able to accomplish one of those tasks daily which I still continue as of today and that is I wake up when my husband leaves for work and spend the next hour or so and quiet prayer time and study every morning! Upon doing so I have noticed that my day goes by so much better! And next month I can even try to get all of those things done in one day that you suggested during your 30 day Christian challenge video!

8:14 my mom had me at 45 and i am 33 now and sometimes im so scared ill never become a mom because it is my only desire but then i think how God blessed my mom to have me at 45 and i was very healthy and my mom is now 79 and she is super healthy and a God fearing woman 🙏🏾🤍🥰

So true, when you are walking in your calling - you won’t feel stressed/ anxious because you know that you are obeying God. I was always trying to do things my own way to get the results that God has for me, but to God the HOW matters just as much as the WHAT. Like for instance. I am a student. There is a specific schedule that God wants me to follow, sometimes not convenient, but life has gotten so much better when I just surrendered to his will to ordering my schedule daily. So much peace. So much joy. Having the Lord on your side and aware of his presence!

I had stopped dreaming with God. I have dreams for my son but not myself. I want to do ministry but waiting on God to explain.. show what that is. I stopped dreaming about my relationship. I don’t think he’ll ever propose. I just wish God would remove him if He doesn’t want time to marry him. This year I will read His word to see what He wants me to dream.

Sometimes I find it hard to relate to the American upbringing regarding Christianity. I love your videos and they have helped me tremendously! @michealaozuka5179 maybe you misunderstood? she never said He’s a genie in a bottle, she even clarified with captions on the screen that just because it’s on our vision board, doesn’t mean it’ll come to pass. there are many things that are of the devil, vision/prayer boards are not one of them.

Ehhh, it’s kind of nice to have a guide to pray for what we want. Matthew 6 talks about praying for what you want. In a world of things and lots of things. It’s great to narrow it down to a few things. Our brains process photos more than words. Sure a prayer request list is nice, but it’s not wrong to see photos of the prayer requests.
