Please do a content on Accelerated nursing for those who are non science students, the pre requirements coursea and how to get admission to write or how to go about those pre requisite courses. Does one have to be in Canada to write the prerequisite courses? Can one write it from Nigeria before proceeding to get admission into LPN. please help

You can do grade 12 of Math, English, Chemistry and Biology while in Nigeria. It is up to 500 - 800 CAD per course. The final amount depends on whose program you're enrolled in. Get up to 75% in each, evaluate your degree if you have and set up an account with OCAS or OUAC or both. Tell WES and ILC TVO for example to transfer your transcripts to OCAS.

@@ferdimako what about prerequisites like anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, humanities and nutrition? Where do we get to do those prerequisites in Nigeria before applying for Nursing in Canada?

Again, it is PN- Practical Nursing and L or R prefixes after finishing the program and passing the license exam. L means licensed while R means Registered. Most provinces and territories go with the L while Ontario goes with R. RPN means Registered Psychiatric Nurses as well.

@@ferdimako you are not correct, as a non science student especially or as someone who didn't do anatomy , physiology, etc in ur degree. You must write pr requisite courses.. The question is as an art student, how does one go about writing the pre requisites

@@Joypopins Are you in Canada? What are the prerequisites? Whether you did sciences or not, you need some grade 11 or 12 of those subjects I listed around.

It need to equate to a full nursing degree. I don’t think diploma nursing equates to an RN degree but you should try an RPN/LPN degree.
