Regarding healthcare and healthcare staffing. The problem is that UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, France etc all have publicly funded health systems of various entitlements. The demand for nurses, doctors, is very high but the supply of qualified staff is low. All the countries I mentioned run huge immigration programs targeted at healthcare workers but they all are currently experiencing chronic staff shortages because they all fish in the same global talent pool. Another issue is that Canada, UK and Australia are attracting healthcare staff at below or break even replacement rate. In simple language, every year a certain number of staff retire, change careers or die. New healthcare staff are basically just replacing those numbers and aren’t necessarily growing the total number of staff. Why is that? Remember COVID? That’s your answer as to why there’s a crisis of staffing. Tens of thousands of staff in these countries retired early, a lot of young nurses(Canadian and Australian) are starting to leave nursing the profession a few years into it because of burn out. So my point is immigration is not adding to the pool of healthcare workers, it is only replacing those that are leaving. The problem then becomes the recent wave of immigrants has added to the total population and now on a per capital basis a single healthcare worker now has to see more patients than before. Canada has done more than any country to attract healthcare workers as far back as the 1990s. There just aren’t enough global healthcare workers. The solutions are long term and will only succeed if Canada starts to grow its own pool of local workers. The UK did something even better from 1997-2005. The then Labour government funded the tuition fees of nursing students. If you were a student from a Commonwealth country and received a university offer the UK government paid all your fees and paid you a monthly bursary to cover your expenses like rent, food etc. My spouse got into that program in 2004 and never paid a cent to study, was offered couples accommodation. For 3 years she studied and never had to work because the bursary covered all our expenses and we had money left over to travel around Europe. By 2005, the program was scrapped for new international students because at that point there was an oversupply of nurses. As soon as she graduated Alberta Health, New Brunswick and BC sent HR people to the UK to interview graduates and offer them jobs in Canada. We were offered relocation packages. We opted to stay in the UK so that I could finish my degree. Long story short. Canada has been trying to recruit healthcare workers for decades and if the political will was there, they could make nursing free for everyone including international students

And we all know the situation there Now if people would know the real situation the local health workers are experiencing we all would understand the shortage and we all would think twice before migrate. As a Canadian citizen, by birth, born in Toronto I can tell you for a fact there's always been crime in Toronto, but it's usually been people who know each other or gangs, very rarely random stabbings and occasionally an innocent person would get caught in the middle of gang war fare, but I can tell you for a fact that crime really spiked in. Toronto, when Trudeau brought in the Syrian refugees people with war crimes trauma. That's when stabbings and mentally ill attacking innocent people spiked. I live in Toronto, grew up in Toronto I used to walk to George Brown college, Ryerson University, which is down in the Dundas and Yonge Area and George Brown, Is at king stree ast if Yonge. I can't remember the other Main Street. All the way up to Yonge and Davisville. Sometimes I would walk at night all that way. And I never had a situation at 10 or 11pm o'clock at night or I would take the bus get off. Walk home in a residential neighborhood. No issue. But if I was living in Toronto today I would have my head 300% swivel that's very sad for me to know. The amount of attacks in Subway systems. I noticed it only spiked when he took in all those Syrian refugees. Now I can't say it was all them but that's when I started hearing these weird stories of stabbings and all these weird random crimes spiking dramatically, so immigration is good but you have to know who you're bringing in because. Hidden amongst innocent people looking to escape war. Or a country going through turmoil is unfortunately, people with mental illness, criminals and they make it bad for everybody in regards. What's happening now and the reason why India was the highest wasn't really only because they had a high population. It was because India was the first one to figure out how to circumvent our immigration policy. So they actually have been doing a scam for about 20 years now. All that happened in 2022 was when the government took the guard rails off in regards to verifying people and checking paperwork thoroughly to make sure they didn't have a criminal history. restricting their weekly work hours and just giving them an open work permit. So when in 2022 the GOV took off the guard rails. And so Indian Scammers basically were making money hand over fist. Taking any where from $5,000 to $50,000 to pay a middle man in India for assistance getting into Canada to work full time and that middleman the splits those illeval funds to give them a fake study accepta ce letter toa dilpoma mill school or a fake job offer letter for a TFWP OR LMIA. Just to get in and work Full time or sneak into the USA. People desperate to just escape and do something different and live somewhere elseand india already had the infrastructure to ramp it up when Trudeau took restriction and guardrails off the Temporary workekeds program

To be honest, Canada doesn’t have a drug problem. Every western country has a drug problem especially Canada, US, UK, Australia & New Zealand. If you watch US news, drugs have been a problem before we were all born. They tried the”tough on crime” approach since Reagan was elected in the US in 1981 and maintained that policy till 2008. In fact drug use increased significantly over that period and millions of Black people were incarcerated and that didn’t help at all. We have safe injection sites, needle exchanges too in Australia. When I was a student in the UK(2004) I worked night shifts in mental health facilities and if you think Canada has a drug problem, the UK is worse. The point is we need to raise awareness of these issues to immigrants because unfortunately new immigrants tend yo cluster in cheap neighbourhoods and that means social problems related to poverty, substance abuse etc are common in those neighbourhoods. I’ve been preaching the gospel of living in smaller towns, prioritising safe neighbourhoods and paying a premium in other rent or mortgage. A good neighbourhood tends to have good schools that don’t experience antisocial behaviour. Please new immigrants, listen to what these sisters have to say

As a born Canadian i sometimes admit I catch myself thinking this way as well..but the problem with this kind "go back to your country " thinking is that it can basically be applied to any of us... Even though im Canadian and my parents are born Canadians. But if we go back far enough we all descend from immigrants at some point....the problem is that Canada we currently live in and its infrastructure can not support the amount of new people in the country. Buses and trains are micro managed and over packed..too many people are living in homes designed for single families and we really only have 3 major cities.. Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.. the rest of Canadas cities are small and dont have enough economy or business or infrastructure to support all these new people. So yes its likely some people will have to leave..whether theyre from Canada or not..

It has been her agenda (the lady at our right). She always have this negative vibes about Canada. It has always been her mission since she entered Canada. I’ve been following her right from the day she left for Canada September 2019. She was my motivator. I remembered when she got her first car. What she’d never dream of having in our present day Nigeria. You can see how people are. She even brought her sister who saw her off at the airport back then. Now both of them are in Canada. She did not discourage her sister o. Today all she does is discouraging people from coming to Canada. She even went as far as becoming a citizen. I remembered everything. the USA did not shut their borders to immigration... in terms of sheer numbers, the US more than doubles its annual rate of immigration compared to Canada... the system is skewed to favor family immigration over economic or skilled immigration, not withsatanding the heavy illegal flow of migrants through the porus US southern border. i hope this helps

@@OnyekaAsamaka they argued that some persons will always do drugs, they argued that it's a safe space for drugs consumer to get needles and equipment to take in the drugs, also they say doctors and 'shrinks' are available at the safepoint should they want to talk about quitting, the doctors are there to assist also according to my colleagues providing clean injections and equipment help reduce the sprayed of inflections. They argued that if you can't stop people from using drugs, you can reduce the health effect they will exact on other people.

11.22 i went to canada on a IEC visa and stayed in an airbnb with 20 people. We Slept on the floor in the kitchen and living room. THERE was no smell. Men and Women would shower in different places and lights went out by 9pm. There was a house manager. I was only there a few days and my friend saved me. AFTER a few months i went back to the UK. I was just travelling and money was tight. My intention was to leave and move into a househare with less people once i had a job.

Too many immigrants with no plans. Everything changed when Trudeau became the prime minister. However things are bad globally due to the COVID pandemic. Government printed so much money during the pandemic creating a lot of inflation. Canada was not well known in Nigeria but unfortunately our leaders have not helped because of the mismanagement of resources. Nigeria would have been a much better place if not for the high levels of corruption. Have not seen any agitation from anyone saying people are taking their jobs. It’s difficult to get jobs in Canada because getting most jobs depends on networking- who you know unlike the US. Canada has changed a lot. Canada was a very decent country in the early 2000s up to 2015 when Trudeau became the prime minister. Licensing in Canada is very difficult. They make it very hard for professionals to be licensed. A lot of guns are coming in from the US into Canada. Elections will be in 2025. Thank you.

It all boils down to what you want for your life...don't base your decisions on what others say....do your own research and make an informed decision basing on what you want your life to be. If after watching this and so many videos on the real state of affairs in Canada and you believe you can make it there, great but if you feel you won't be able to hack it, that's also okay...you can look elsewhere. There are so many other places you could move to.
