This whole video was fascinating, and, as your videos always are, really informative. But there's a core thing that I still find really mysterious-- at the *core* level, how does one make money as a freelance travel photographer? I understand freelance photography generally, whether it's weddings, headshots, and so on-- but when you talk about your zine getting you clients, what are the clients asking to you do? Are you working for tourist boards? Local companies when you go abroad to a particular company? Something else? I feel like I'm asking a stupid question here, or maybe that I missed an earlier video where things are clearer, so I very much apologize if either I'm missing something obvious or I missed something you said.

Hey Robert, appreciate your comment and giving time and thought to the video. This is a massive topic which is why I’m running my mentorship program in 2025 and would urge you if you’re considering doing something like this to join the waiting list because the way one would approach this is completely personal. There are so many ways to do this, I just can’t list them all in this comment. The zine btw acts a portfolio, builds trust and shows my commitment to my photography. “Act the way you’d like to be and soon you’ll be the way you act”
