Become a Vet Assistant at American College of Healthcare

I got screwed over by this school,and they are still trying to get money out of me!! They only had 3 contracted externship sites available to do the mandatory hours, I was sent to one that was fortunately close, but half way through my hours the lady that works at the college collecting hrs and making sure the school knows they are done, was not collecting my hours. they pulled me from my site because the site canceled their contract with the school. I was told to go and find a place on my own, that would except me doing my externship and then I was told if they allow me to do my hours with them, i have to get them to contract with the college or my hrs would not be excepted. Needless to say most veterinary clinics/hospitals do not want to let college students at least when I was there in 2013/14 do the hrs their, as they were uncertain if it was safe for them to do so because of liabilities. On top of everything danielle the lady responsible for doing this for the students, up and quit and was found to have been not logging hrs and students times, as she was already wanting to quit for a while according to rumors. My externship and hours were so messed up after working 100+hrs for FREE gone because the colleges employee quit and soon after ACH was audited for possible illegal activities, all in the time I was there. I finished at the top of my with a 108% grade in my class but got screwed on my externship hours now they want $$$$ from me.. I know way to much info about this place to get screwed over. I helped this school so much outside of my duties as a student. I was a model student and went out of my way and time to help remodel, build machines for the classes and move complete classes to literally another building, I mean move as in furniture lifting,book cases,props desks,chairs, machines for xray and other medical classes they offer,for FREE ON MY TIME🖕. I do not recommend this college at least not the veterinary assistance course!!. Just my personal experience and opinion.

I am the person talking in the video. So yes I did a lot for that school for free and got screwed over.. I know many people who got the same experience from this college at the time I was there.

I'm sorry you had a terrible experience there. Experiences like this definitely make me worry, since I've actually been considering this school vet assistance program myself recently. Out of curiosity though is their another school you would reccomended instead?

I saw an Instagram add from them and asked for more info. They just tried to call me and now after watching this video and looking at this comment, I wouldn't want to attend this place at all! I am so sorry this happened to you :( but I Thank you for warning other people who were planning on applying for the vet assistant program.
