How do we calibrate this? how often is calibration needed?

Calibration is done in production.

@@NordicSemi thanks. As you know all test equipment deviate over time. Is there any means to calibrate later on? Say after 1 year? Any data that you can share regarding measurement accuracy over temperature and time? Thanks

@@Truth_seeker_24 yes, it does. We do not have accurate data on temperature and time. It's certified for normal room temperature. There are ways to calibrate, and you can find the info in the user guide for Power Profiler Kit II: infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/ug_ppk/UG/ppk/PPK_user_guide_Intro.html?cp=9_7

I was thinking of getting one of these but there's a discussion in Nordic DevZone forum that suggests the Power Profile Kit II (PPK2) produces different results which are possibly less accurate data than the previous version. It would be good to know what's going on there.

Hi Kevin, would you care to share the discussion on our DevZone forum with us?

@@NordicSemi I did add it in a reply to my reply but KZbin may be hiding it as part of their spm/link bombing filtering. If you can't see that reply/link, the title is "Issues with the new PPK2 " in the "Nordic Q&A" DevZone Forum.

@@kevinwalters5160 They did indeed hide it, we found it now. But sorry for the trouble, but thanks for sending over the title. We'll look into the discussion in our forum.

@@kevinwalters5160 only a few have registered a couple of bugs, we are currently investigating these. Most are very happy with the PPK2.
