this has been on my mind for months, crazy how we ruminate on some things but never express them to other people because of our fear that we are the only ones who think of these things.

in regard to what you said towards the end of the video: people often ridicule the need to "become famous" to have your work "shown". But these people don't understand that the act of Art is a relationship between the creator and consumer; two people bonding over the shared understanding of a piece. When someone leaves a comment on a video, what they're really trying to say is, I see you.

i totally hear you . sometimes i’ll think “whats the point of doing this if no will see it , no one will be inspired by my work , or progress me anywhere in life” . and not in a , “i want it to get me lots of followers” kind of way . but the same way other people’s work touches me and inspires me , what is the point of creating if my work cannot do the same ? i get so lost in the fact that i feel like absolutely everything i do must have some purpose or it’s like you said , wasting my time . sometimes i can’t get around the thought that’s it’s okay to create just for the sake of creating , and that alone is enough .

Honestly such a beautiful video!! I found myself rewinding to relisten and fully understand what you're trying to say. For me, that just added to my engagement with the art. I'm really glad I watched the video, it's honestly something I'm dealing with cause you want to see some results, some validation that you're moving in the right direction. They say just trust the process. But everyone's process is different. So I have to trust my process, but how can I, when I don't fully trust myself? The imaginary audience you mentioned is too real.

I absolutely love your videos and authenticity. You are so right that no matter what we do time will pass by so might as well use it for creativity and self discovery. I feel like we are living in era where we can create and express ourselves on KZbin without gatekeepers. Which itself is huge. And after all we have to do something for us simply because it makes us happy regardless of the outcome. Thank you so much for another awesome video 🙂

This video really resonated with me as Ive been creating music in my free time for a while now and u start to just lose that spark of enjoyment in the process of creating over time and focus more on just getting more listeners and popularity, however looking back realizing that we should all really just live in the moment of the process and have fun rather than getting too focused on the end goal as I felt like I wasted time not feeling genuinely satisfied

thank you for this video, this was real art, for me. it's too easy being afraid and having fear of the future and I've been seeing a lot of videos about the act of living a creativity life, this one got me in the deepest ground of my heart and my soul, like I just don't need to rush anything, bringing peace and calm. Like I just need to feel the present and do what I love with passion in this moment. I see you, man. And I get it.

I really appreciate you and your message man! It resonates for sure, especially with where I am at in life right now. I think you’re exactly right, to look towards the end can take away from the here and now, the present. By being fixated on the outcome we loose focus on the enjoyment of the process and sometimes loose the reason we decided to start something new in the first place, when the goal is on numbers and outcome I think the creativity subsides, it’s more like a ‘grind’ towards something, I feel it goes against my nature and against the nature of letting things flow naturally and as they’re meant to. I’m no longer at a point in life where I push myself to do things that don’t fit in my energy and I’m really happy to come to this point, I’m still learning of course :) I saw a comment the other day - “when creation is a byproduct of passion you create magic, when it’s a byproduct of necessity, you create a burden” and I think it’s very true, taking a break from creating has really helped me, it might go against what the mind says but I know within myself how beneficial rest is, it allows the focus to come back to creation for the sake of creation and I feel has helped me pivot my ideas. You never fall behind by taking rest :) I also really like your idea of the magic in starting something new and how there’s excitement within that and curiosity, to try and explore really is something to be grateful for, you’re completely right man! Even as you’re talking many ideas come and I feel like commenting but that too takes away from the enjoyment of the present so it’s often a reminder for me to just enjoy my current experience rather than rushing to the next thing. Thank you for your words and wisdom, all the love my friend, I wish you the very best! 🙏❤️😊✌️

i think I feel this while writing poetry too sometimes that I almost stopped writing. The process became so taxing when I put myself in the shoes of someone reading my work and judging my skills, so I kept trying to refine it with that criticism in mind and it just went nowhere. Thanks to TTPD, I feel inspired to write again and I have trip to the lakes district coming up soon, what better place to start writing poetry again yea?

I feel this fear of not being productive comes way harder when youre a todays teenager on the imminence of going to college. Since everyones trying their best to get the most insane curriculum and then ones feels the need to also do that, however this is a really more goal focused mindset that is very easy to kind of lose pleasure of the activity that youre doing, and even tho one knows that, its not easy to go against what everyone is actually doing and live life 100% the way you want. I guess its best to chase some sort of balance between these two things, doing the things that gives pleasure to you because of the process, but not forgetting to do things that you need too, anyway, great vid as always

i recall hozier's lyrics: "And all things end All that we intend is scrawled in sand And slips right through our hands And just knowin' that everything will end Should not change our plans when wе begin again" and "When the stench of the sea and the absence of green Are the death of all things that are seen and unseen Are the end, but the start of all things that are left to do" thanks for reminding all this, we tend to forget it in turmoil of life💗

you can start by trying to film things around you that you find interesting, think to yourself how can i best this shot and share my ideas from it. I think the most important thing is starting to do by filming. it might take a while but the process of making videos becomes clearer. Goodluck!!!! 💗
