In ‘ Eg ringer deg ikke’ “ikke” is not an adverb if it translates with ‘ not’ , it is negation of the verb, an adverb would be ‘ never’

Very helpful, thank you. I would like to mention that your translation of "Han føler seg meget bedre" as "He feels himself much better" is very ... odd ... phrasing in English, and could be mistaken as something more rude/suggestive than intended. Maybe "He feels much better", or "He feels much more like himself", or some other variant?
