Prince was a master who wrote over 6000 songs including no 1 hits for other artists. You should check out 1999, Lady Cab Driver, or Let's Go Crazy next. We actually still use the word beret today:) The Army's special forces" The Green Berets" are quite well known.

in songs lie purple rain he plays guitar like he is singing.in pop songs he sings when you could expect a guitar. that becausehe arranged as a complete master. he played with music. by the way, the melody is simply perfect.

He was most def. the greatest live performer of all time. BTW a beret is a type of hat. Raspberry is the color of the hat the girl was wearing. She was a free spirit who was a little ditzy. In the song he sings “She walked in through the OUT door” and he also sings “She wasn’t too bright” but she was exactly what he needed/wanted in that moment and if he had the chance to do it all over again he wouldn’t change a thing about the experience. He’d do it all over again. Looking forward to your next Prince reaction!

If you want to see amazing performances, watch Queen live videos. Also the vocal range. Amazing. There are so many good musicians, artists, bands, groups or whatever you want to call them from the "old days". I would say 60-70's are the best, in my opinion. Led Zeppelin is a favorite of mine to watch. The Bee Gees when I want energy, Pink Floyd is my very favorite, to lay back in the dark, doing my thing and just chillin' to it. The lyrics are very deep, and they are a band that you listen to a whole album, not pick through songs. Start at the beginning and go straight through. Stevie Ray Vaugh live is amazing for guitar. Santana at Woodstock. Luther Vandross and his silky and sexy voice. So many genres and so much great music. It's impossible to hear it all, but worth taking the time to check out what you can.

That white guitar is custom made, he used in Purple Rain and many times after (with a lot of colors). The name is CLOUD GUITAR. Maybe that's the reason of the suit or perhaps is because Prince was that confident with himself he didn't mind what people could say. I own a Funko Pop with that suit & guitar 😍😎

I'm a new sub, and posted in your "Most Beautiful Girl In The World" video a list of lesser-known, but amazing, Prince songs. My favorite is "Good Love" which is sung in his "Camille" voice (slightly higher, but obviously mechanically altered). You're still so early into the Prince rabbit hole, I think I'd suggest starting with his early early stuff (Soft & Wet, I Wanna Be Your Lover) and work your way forward in time. Keep in mind he didn't necessarily release songs in the order they were written/recorded, but he does go through "eras." You mentioned in a previous Prince reaction video about his vocal range. This is a decent video showing how low, and how high, he could easily sing. This was long before autotune! Thanks for these Prince reviews. Now that I've found you, I look forward to more!
