I have some pvp questions. In training match’s I read that supposedly it’s balanced now aside from the fact that ppl with chips still get to use them but their dropped to level one. However as a solo player I am only winning 40 percent if I’m lucky. Sometimes I do good,decent,ok other times it’s really bad. When it comes to pvp is it more about RATING or STATS? For example I am close to 60k and with bio I have 1600 damage 1732 max armor and my head torso leg are all 900ish my health is 2400. I worked hard for these stats but I’m confused cause I see S rating players with same stats as mine?? In radiation island and aero base it feels like higher rating players are impossible to put damage into even a full clip at the head and I’m lucky to get their health halfway or more to where their almost dead. On my camp training I have Bulletproof durable armor and the critical resistance and critical damage resistance one MAXED out or almost maxed I have weapons defensive and expert maxed and barrens maxed. While I feel like don’t die as easily by maxing these I still feel easy to take down UNLESS I play shield gun. Then my damage resistance becomes 338. Which allows me to not get one shot dead and actually fight but it’ll still not long enough usually to take someone down unless I have good team. So when it’s comes to pvp should I stop focusing on stats and just shoot for highest rating possible?

Stats and rating align mostly, ONLY training is balanced so anything like rad island or aero is unbalanced and you’re not doing damage because everyone else is higher rating/better stats than you. You should always aim for better stats and in return it’ll give you rating, aim for rating and you’ll get higher stats. Examples - getting gene synergy gives you rating and if you get it a higher synergy it’ll give more stats with synergy. As a f2p you’ll never have good enough stats against a p2w. For training the best way you can get an advantage in power is making gold chips.

@@fumiata thank you for the reply. I actually don’t have ANY chips at all. Right now the only help I’m getting is thru supply cards. I had thought about getting a pass too but correct me if I’m wrong the rewards seem so little. The one thing I was told by my camp mates is to make a alt account and sell the mats to my main so I can get better ratings on my gear. Right now I’ve got ALL gold gear for 110+ ready to go ahead of schedule. Working on guns now. But even then I think I will barely maintain a A rating. I get a A rating if my highest gun is equipped and then as soon as we go up a level I usually drop back to a B. I have a couple of guns with purple stats and about half of my armor and gear has purple stats. I’ve rolled almost all purple on the first prime enchantment. Could my polishing be what’s slowing me down? My main weapon is at 30. I did splurge on that. And my armor and gear is barely at 21. I’m not sure what else I could do to catch up
