Hi, I'm Daniel Harkavy and I want to talk to you about the why behind
Becoming a Coaching Leader. Since I was in my early 20s, coaching has been all that I've known. I've devoted my whole adult life to the coaching
and coming alongside of people so that they could be the best they could be, in business and in life.
When I was in my young 20s, I thought if I could just help people to get really clear on where they wanted to go and then be that encouraging force
to help them to identify the steps to get there. If I did that with discipline and regularity, I would see people grow, my team would grow, my business would grow and sure enough, that's exactly what happened.
So then that led me to the age of 30 and I launched Building Champions,
which is now in its 25th year where we have coached tens of thousands of business leaders to be the best they can be. And all of the frameworks, the tools that we use at Building Champions to help our leader clients to be the best they can be are an offshoot of what I did in my 20s.
15 years ago, I wrote this book, Becoming a Coaching Leader because I wanted to share the strategy with managers and leaders out there
because I believed if I did, I could help them to make a significant difference, enjoy more fulfillment in their careers and ultimately get better results for the businesses in which they led.
So today, the opportunity that I have for you is to benefit from all of these years of learning, from the content from this book as well as what we're doing today with our clients.
And it's all in the Becoming a Coaching Leader System. It's a system, it's a course, its content, tools and frameworks. And what I'm convinced of is this, if you'll invest the time to go through the course from beginning to end
and then you begin to deploy what's in it, I'm absolutely convinced that you will make a greater difference in the lives of your teammates. You'll get better results.
