“If you have a goal, write it down, make a plan, stick to the plan and execute them. Maintain your focus is not easy to do, but if you remind yourself why you’re doing it, then it will be just a bit easier to do”. I needed this words of wisdom in my life everyday!

@@yelui2000Good luck on you and your son in achieving the goals.
In Taiwan a person graduating from a medical school isn't necessarily a physical doctor. For a student who wants to become a pharmacist or medical technologist or rehabilitation practioner he or she is supposed to finish a four- year program as per normal student but if they want to become a physical doctor they're supposed to study in a 6-7 year program before they're eligible to take the exam of being a doctor. Because a physical doctor is a highly payed job in Taiwan so that many senior high school students look upon it as their first choice when it comes to the college entrance exam. As a result the competition is extremely keen and only about 1/500 of the high school students are selected to study in those programs . As for a foreign applicant it's much much easier for them te be accepted in those programs. On top of that they're usually offered the scholarships so that they aren't worried about the money they have to pay in Taiwan.

Taiwan is not Chinese.(華人) Taiwan is Taiwanese.(臺人) The Republic of China is still in Taiwan. Taiwan is not the Republic of China. Taiwan is not the People's Republic of China either. Taiwan is a country.
