I'm studying this book where he breaks down anatomy into simple shapes and rly go into details with every part. I had no problem with the perspective and form since it was the first thing I invested my time learning but the part I was struggling most was how to actually pose the mannequin and apply all the simplified muscles because they always end up being stiff. This video rly rly rly made some things clear for me! I can't believe I get to see this for free😭 thanks!

How is this hard this is like the easiest part now try wrapping your head around organic shapes in perspective I'm still trying to learn that I can sketch vehicles in perspective humans but I can't draw cool poses yet but anyway it should take about 15 years to get really good at any form of art I come from a family of artist my grandpa is a industrial designer my dad does drumming and poetry and writing my mom a painter and my mom's dad is an engineer but also does like the technical drawings and I asked them like how long it took for them to get god my dad told that it took him 20 years to master poetry

@zoura32574 жыл бұрын
@@CrimsonDawn-ou4og This helped me quite a lot before because I used to compare quite a lot and now it's not that bad. to be honest, the video was super informative, but now as I look back on it- I don't think I learned anything. You should really consider doing a follow-up video, where you just focus on like one body part, like a hand or head and explain how the vanishing points are affected in different perspectives and different portions of the body part are affected

That's probably because this video isn't meant to be consumed by beginners.

@OursAreTheSix5 жыл бұрын
Well, I think that's a little harsh. As an example, everyone in the NBA has talent, then there are some that are gifted like team starters, then there are genius like all star teams, and then there are Legends. @maxwelljiang47294 жыл бұрын
Hmm, so I understand perspective, and (I think) I understand anatomy, but there's a disconnect when I try to put things together. For example, when you drew the human forms at around 8:00, were you consciously thinking about horizon lines and vanishing points? Did you just estimate the convergences?
@moderndayjames4 жыл бұрын
I do estimate convergences, but a lot of that comes from understanding ellipses. I'll be making a follow up on it!
@crowofcainhurst5 жыл бұрын
The boxes reference is helpful when you tried to draw building or environment. But when it comes to drawing human, monsters, or animals, the problem would be how to keep the form consistent from the perspective angle.
