i know there’s talk about perfectionism and bits he’s missing and whatever, but i LOVE this game because there are so many different ways to play it. it’s been so fun to watch julien play stardew and see how many different ways there are to play and enjoy this game. love to see him catching onto the mechanics and goals and enjoy the hell out of it ❤

lmaooo I kinda agree but watching Julien play reminds me of how my bf plays; the time-management of stardew bothers him so bad, his ADHD self cannot keep up with the shortness of the days, so he defaults to fishing & the mines all the time!! I do hope Julien makes at least 1 friend and gets some cutscenes before end of 1st year tho 😭

I swear the fishing in the beginning IS hard but focus on clicking really little taps to keep the bar with the fish and get the nicer fishing rod the second you can, it gets much much easier

I can't do it perfectly either, but what works for me is never holding down the left click, but doing a lot of short clicks😬 and when i want the bar to go down, i just stop clicking. I feel like I'm doing it wrong too tho lmao because it's still a struggle. Julien on the other hand, just caught a sturgeon like it was nothing😂

I feel like most steamers who have played sdv are hardcore players with mods and strat. But I love to see someone discover their love for this game

Yes i do this too! Colour coded seasonal chests, 1 per season for seeds/crops and 1 per season for forageables. Then the rest is easier to break down into categories :)
