i also had an idea for an open world rpg naruto game, of course i cant code or do game development so its stuck as an idea, although mine focused more on the hand signs needing to be learned by first pressing buttons on a controller in a certain order to activate a jutsu (needing skill from players to actually activate jutsu). this would become easier the more you do this in combat by less buttons needing to be pressed, to it automatically doing the handsigns for you. more powerful jutsus require more handsigns before they get activated. *in short*, mastery of a specific jutsu means your character would automatically do handsigns without further input from the player. each handsign is binded to a specific button so that you can simulate yourself doing handsigns. with something like this, if a player is confident enough they could be doing handsigns while moving their character (as that naturally needs button inputs), leaving your fingers to doing handsigns would limit your own movement and remove defense and offense for another player or npc to physically attack you. all jutsus can be used from the very beginning, but its up to the player to memorize the handsigns for each jutsu, up until they master their jutsus. mastered jutsus would then be binded to a button, easily used in the heat of battle. To not accidentally activate a mastered jutsu while doing handsigns, a dedicated input/button is needed to begin doing handsigns. *i hope this makes sense, too tired so proofreading would do nothing*

Great take on the natutoverse, I hope he polishes the combat maybe have a parry/counter feature. Also I don’t think you should be able to just buy all chakra nature makes it kinda dull. This is awesome. It would be cool if unreal engines picked you up for the graphics. I had a vision and wrote down a whole open world game play naurto game and this is exactly what I was thinking it could be. You could even expand as you grow the game and catch tailed beasts and have other villages and give them away as you see fit and you could also get a huge clan together of every different ninja in your village and fight battles with other battles and lf you win then their hidden village will be in an alliance with yours and I have a couple more ideas if interested

@@GeneratedPerson your idea is great. I would just add one thing. I think you should have to learn certain jutsus, like jutsus which are rare or not known/secret. You wouldn’t be able to do the very advanced jutsus right from the start either cause it would cost too much chakra to do them. I think with all that, the game would be very interesting to see. Unfortunatly, these indie game never get very far due to them getting taken down… its sad to say but the game in the video will never see a full release and will development will either be forced to stop or the devs will have to modify everything thats related to Naruto. I like this game. I hope in the future, they make the character progression where you have to unlock certain accessories etc. Example if you want to wear the anbu mask, you need to complete a questline to earn it. And if you pick a clan and you have certain natures you should be limited in what jutsu you can use. This creates prestige, and forces different playstyles. The only problem will be balance, peoole will spam pick op clans etc.

But I think pretty much everyone will want to main Uchiha, and if you're ever bored and want to make a character from scratch after having explored all clans, i think Uchiha is what comes first to mind for almost everyone. After all why not? They seem to be the most fleshed out, they're one of the biggest parts of the story, they are the edgiest and coolest for most people. Plus it supports both good and evil fantasy.

Honestly, Byakugan with mostly defensive and movement skills to prevent beat downs. I would aim to master Taijutsu, Movement, Body, and Nin-Gen-Ken-Sen maybe optional. This is because of quicker action times, and I don't know if they will limit the masteries so that everyone can have a more individual character[Character Slot$ - One per release + More replay ability]. They can just let everyone master everything with time but it would make characters kind of bland. I wonder if this game has a thread where fans can ask questions, give input, or ideas?

Little ideas for future development: 1. Let ninjas start from academy 2. Make new ninja skills default > Meaning you start with random clan and rendom kekei genkai or without it. 3. Make unique jutsus + jutsus in naruto > Make advancements for justsus and ability to make your own jutsu. 4. Make all 5 villages and countries to travel and make missions. 5. Disalove players to create any character from naruto. You should spawn as a unique ninja with random unique potential abilities you need to awaken or chakra type that will allow you to learn or create jutsus. 6. Use AI to generate new quests. 7. Use feelings, epic moments, sudden events as invasions or sudden moments when you are on mission. 8. Make it playable with joysticks and make button combinations create specific jutsus. Every justsu shall have unique combinations (Tekken Example maybe?) 9. Make a death of a player possible (First time in this type of game) So it will be realistic. 10. Make relationships, Building/Buing house or clan mension. 11. Exams + Secret training locations on travels with random people ( Secret Masters that may have some intentions) All they should be random controlled with AI. If players match by chakra type and some charasteristics they can train each other for a new jutsu. (Random Jutsus can be seen by an example of Borderlands game, which generates random weapons all by itself and they are all unique) 12. Strong anticheat team (Ban everybody who will cheat, maybe AI controlled anticheat will be perfect or example of Fortnite where players are afraid to cheat because they do it strictly) 13. Sell the game for 60$. Everyone will buy it 14. Hire me as a creative director in your company, thank me later
