Becoming a Pokemon World Champion is More Than Cards 🏆

The road to becoming Pokemon World Champion starts at this local card game shop in Anderson, Indiana! In this Pokemon documentary we follow the journey of Pokémon competitor Isaiah as he takes his first steps at a regionals Pokemon tournament! Pokemon World Championships is the goal but every Pokemon trainer has to have a starting point, the local card game store. Enjoy this documentary about about the competitive side of the Pokemon TCG and how it brings people together!

Such an inspiring story. I’m 20 now, collecting and playing on and off for half my life, and I’ve NEVER had the courage to go to an event. The biggest thing I’ve gone to has been a few prereleases, but never a tournament. I’ve always wanted to go to Worlds, and ESPECIALLY with it being in Japan this year, though that’s most likely not happening for me. Seeing this story is great. With my favorite Pokémon, Gardevoir, looking to be a great card competitively, maybe Scarlet & Violet will be my chance to not only get into competitive, but do it with my favorite Pokémon.

love this SO much! My daughter is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about pokemon too, she's a bit younger and has been collecting the cards for a while but just starting to learn how to play - so great to see this and thanks to you all for sharing your experience x
