I am in this video, it is such a rewarding profession! Special connections with patients and also specialised clinical expertise. Anyone who goes through the career pathway will experience significant personal growth.

I’m good in calculus and chemistry but I never took anatomy/ physics yet. I’m in the 11th grade, should I take anatomy and physics next year so I can be prepared? Or should I try something else?
@cookiek.52243 жыл бұрын
I never took anatomy in hs which I do regret because now I have to take it in college, but I took physics. I'm not a "genius" or anything. I never had IB/AP classes either. Everyone told me not to take physics because it was difficult, but I enjoyed the class and passed with an A. It really depends on the teacher.
@alucidmirage56023 жыл бұрын
covering the whole bio, chem, and physics group can be really helpful for pushing you in a direction for deciding on jobs in the STEM fields. A lot of highschool stuff only really applies to the very beginning of what you would be learning, so I wouldn' really worry about it and use your classes to test your interests. But with your interest in health sciences you'll probably have a blast in anatomy.
@ryleyskog49063 жыл бұрын
these requirements in high school dont count but I would take it so you can be prepared for college classes. You have to take it in college it has to be college accredited from your program. Most people don't start radiation therapy until their junior year of college. Your first two years of college will be all prereqs you will have to repeat anatomy phys 1 and take anatomy and phys 2 in college. You also may need a physics course as well as biology, chemistry and calculus most likely . . Program coordinators for radiation therapy don't accept students right out of high school they want to see how well you can adjust to college classes and maintain a high GP. I just was accepted into mine and I'm 23 and I have a 3.6 college GPA so it took me awhile to get in and get a good GPA

Finding answers from the comment section of a KZbin vide is a BAD IDEA. Don't guess what classes you think you need. Consult an academic advisor from the school you plan on applying to!

MisterStun I’m not going to lie Precalculus was tough I failed the first time I took it. It’s a lot of work that you have to be willing to commit if math doesn’t “just come to you”. The intermediate algebra was easy breezy had no trouble until I got to Pre-Cal. You get out of Pre-Cal then it’s just Physics left really which is a combo of algebra/trig.

Kam thanks for the insight man, I’m horrible at math so I’m in the category where I’ll fail a few times but I’ll look into it, thank you and good luck bro
