this was an interesting video for you to say what your your goal was for skydiving and to hear you finally acomplished it. I remember when i did my tandem jump the person who was recording me looked she was having just as much fun as i was and made it even more fun :)

My goal for this year is to just start jumping. I am 40 years old this coming Summer. I did a tandem and 12 static-line jumps when I was 19 (all the way up to dummy pulls, but never cleared for freefall). I then signed up for AFF, paid the full course price, and completed the ground School. Couldn't jump that day due to poor weather, so jump was delayed until next day. Overnight I completely lost my confidence and never returned to the drop zone. I've regretted that decision ever since. I am pretty sure I think about skydiving every day, and I just want to be able to build up the courage to properly start my journey. I just wish I had more courage!

Our tandems are under Sigma, their requirements are- 300 jumps with a coach license AND 100 belly jumps within the last 12 months. Or be a USPA D license.

Congrats Cathy, happy for you! I have a question. We have a similar situation, I work in engineering consulting and have a kid and find it difficult to juggle everything. Barely have enough time to squeeze a few fun jumps here and there, let alone pursuing ratings, traveling to boogies, etc. Do you also work full time, do you find it challenging and how do you manage this aspect? Thank you and keep up great work! ✌️

Yes. I do work full time (still...) ;) It is not easy for sure. I have my mom who helps a lot to take care of the kid during my little trip but it is sure I can't travel as much as before. I have a flexible job to so Fridays are the best day for me to go to the DZ at least in the afternoon. ;)

Not sure if you have any control over the amount of adds here but fuck that was like 3-4 commercial breaks for a 8 min video... Demonitize please. People don't make much off youtube anymore and especially with channels where vids only receive 10k or less views, is it worth it?
