My takeaway is to not shrink back. To read more books and pass on more wisdom to help someone. To remember right it down.

For me it was a reminder pray for my adult children and not try to put my thoughts ways in them. Also to plan ahead in finances and retirement. Planning my retirement has been on my list along with helping my mom get her will or trust together. Mines is done and I need to get my trust notarized. This also was confirmation about mentoring my cousin while she’s with me in the LORD and her goals. This was great thank u

I just stumbled into this podcast, and I learned so much already😢, I started reading this year, and I am 29 😂😂Ladies and gentlemen. You have just confirmed it for me again that reading can have so many benefits. I am currently reading ‚The Garden within‘ by Anita Philips. Everytime I read I am healing my childhood self. The part about figuring out what to stop and what to start doing also had me. I have always wanted to do more, but I was a scared little girl, but now that I know Jesus is with me, I more by faith not fear. I look crazy to people but 😂 I know who has me back. So thank you. I will most definitely be listening 👂

Thank you Chrystal, this was awesome! Learned that is is not to late to read with my young adult children, this is a regret of mine. I remember hearing you had your children read Do the Hard Things and I thought, I’m going to do that, I never did, but hopefully it’s not too late to read some book that will help them be the women that God would have them to be and hopefully avoid the pitfalls that I’ve experienced.

Man! A couple things stood of for me but the one thing that made me pause the video and laugh is when she said to step into these spaces with confidence and stop shrinking back. I’m in a very different season in my life where I’ve been learning a lot. It’s been great and God has been speaking through any and everything, but I’ve also run into those “uncomfortable” or “stretching” moments and I noticed that my immediate response was to shrink back. Like I said, It’s fun but it is tugging on some parts of me that I’m not used to using, so I’m seeing the challenges. I’m encouraged to continue to show up confidently, not shrink back, and also be willing to continue to learn. I have great women around me who are offering their help so I’m noticing that too!

Yeah, my mother is no longer in a place where I can learn from her wisdom. She's 81 and all the listening I did when I was younger, I took notes. It's serving me well now. It's hard to know my mother is still here but gone. Who she was, she is no more. I can no longer rely on her. I'm up to bat now. It's a total grieving process.....and she's still alive.

Thank you Auntie Chrystal, yes I'll say Auntie because that's exactly what your talks feel like - shared wisdom from a loving and wise Aunt. This episode came so perfectly timed. Thank God! 🙏🏾 I'm all the way in South Africa, in my early 30s, currently single and feel like I'm constantly figuring things out. For a while now I've felt like I needed to get refocused from a previously challenging season and now busy season to get realigned and reset with God. Things have been good, but sometimes we can forget the stillness and intentional check in. This week I'm taking a carved out REST week (along with my whole team) and the nuggets you've shared are gold reminders. Thank you! What really got me was when you said - we hack time when we learn from each other. That was powerful. Challenged me to share this very episode and make notes about where I am at and where I sense God is taking me. Last thing I'll say again, is just thank you! Have a blessed week ladies 💛
