I wish you the best! I also 100% agree with your statement about not DQing yourself. I had DQ’d myself for 3 years from just serving. Finally I sat down with a Navy recruiter where I found out after some digging it was not the case. I was a little nervous going through my enlistment process BUT I’m now shipping out boot in a couple of weeks. Hope you hear back soon & everything is going well w/ your assignment.

Thank you for sharing your journey! I'm headed to WOCS (got picked up for 153A) and it took me what felt like SO LONG to put my packet together. Longest part for my was the flight physical (I needed waivers). But it's so great to see a fellow female on this journey, especially with your level of passion!!! Good luck and God Speed! It feels like the Army makes this super hard on purpose, hahaha. See you at Rucker someday!!

Thanks for the video. Trying to do the same thing but coming from the usmc. It’s definitely a process but definitely keep at it. I’ve been working on my packet since June of last year and I finally submitted my packet last week. Not sure about the Air Force but the USMC signing off on my DD368 was the most time consuming part of my process which caused me to miss last quarter’s board. Sounds like you have some good mentors to help you out but I found that there are good Warrant officer FB pages that have helped me out. Best of luck to you!

Congrats!! I hope you get picked up! That part was actually pretty quick for me, the longest part has been waiting on Ft Rucker to approve my flight physical. I'll have to look those up FB groups.

Have you been selected? Currently waiting to finish my flight physical. I had to get the eye test done outside of the army. So far, the process has been slow. I was supposed to submit my app in March, but OfCourse the date has been pushed to end of April.

is there any wildland fire fighter jobs that does not recommend driver's licenses extremely hard for me to get driver's licenses because it is hard for me to read and spell words and im fresh out of high school a teacher helded me put in a application to do wildland this year 2022 olny went through wildland training and didnt get to go to wildfire this year and that made me mad i use my phone to spell some words put in this message

If you're dyslexic, there may be a waiver. I heard someone got a job as volunteer firefighter 2yrs, then went to municipal 2 more years, then after a 1 year train up, was accepted under a 6 month probation.

@@johnvelas70 i tried to volunteer for fire department i called all of pierce county in other counties and they say i need a driver's licenses to volunteer and i live in tacoma wa and it is hard and i dont want to wait anymore to go to wildfire 2023

@@johnvelas70 washington state everybody needs to have driver's licenses to learn how to drive a fire truck for in case if they have to driver a fire truck and im try to get a job so i can try to get a driver's license
