As Rick Warren says in a purpose driven life, “ prayer let you speak to God. Meditation lets God speak to you.” I am grateful that I have direct connection to speak with God, and hear his voice rather than going through others as they used to have to before he gave his Jesus as a sacrifice. One of my favorite quotes and I’m not sure who says it is, “ never let familiarity rob you of your gratitude.” we get to do the dishes because we have dishes to do them on. We get to be busy with kids in life because we get to have a life and kids. It’s not easy to find gratitude, but neither was dying on the cross for Jesus and his tears of blood proof that, so today I’m sacrificing my time for him first with gratitude. Just for today I give you my gratitude and time first help me to remember to do the same another days when I’m not feeling you help me to always know you’re still there and to be grateful. Thank you for meditation. Dear Lord, here I am . Yes, always no matter your question. I’ll take up my cross and go.

I'm not a Christian. I wasn't baptized. Recently I started searching for meditations to cope with the feeling of rage, a childhood trauma. Most meditations I tried on KZbin got me distracted after 3 minutes or nervously waiting for the end. This is the first meditation that truly calms me. Each morning I start the day with this meditation. The center of my hands start to glow, become warm and the 10 minutes are over before I know it. This is truly amazing.

I pray for God to heal my marriage. I’m not feeling the love I should for my husband. We don’t get along at all. Please Lord heal us for the sake of our kids and your glory. Right now I don’t like him at all and want out really bad. Please let your will be done and guide us to that will whatever it may be. I’m so emotionally exhausted and can hardly function. "Inhale nurturing habits and Exhale fear." The only way for me to be consistent with nurturing my relationship with God is to write a plan and a schedule to spend time in prayer, worship and meditation. If I don't write it down and purposefully follow the scheduled plan, even though I may have a few hiccups along the way, well it's like Dr. Phil says"A plan is just an idea if it isn't written down." Thank you , Cat for being radically obedient to the Father's assignment for your life. I used the questions that you posed in the meditation and the suggestions you made to create nurturing habits.
