So I fell asleep listening to this guided meditation. It really puts in perspective how many people like me are suffering. It has 20 million views. That means 20 million people with ocd, anxiety, and depression. I hope everyone who comes across this video to have a happy and healthy year.

I listen to this every night (for three years now), and I expect so do others, so that number wouldn't be quite right. But more people should definitely discover this wonderful man! He has helped me so much. If I meet anyone who suffers anxiety or depression I always recommend this video particularly.

This video taught me the only technique that worked for my overthinking, anxiety and staying present . Every time a thought comes to my head. I just say, Don’t evaluate . And immediately I stop thinking and become present. It’s life changing. Please try it.

@@ScurvyRascal i do similar thing. It takes practice. It's about recognising that those evaluations you are doing are not even real. It's all made up stories your mind is creating and you engaging with the mind. Recognising when it's happening is key. Then you can come back to the present and realise where you are and that its ok.

This video has become a regular part of my life since I discovered it last year. I went through a phase where I listened to it every single night for months straight. I have severe OCD and obsessive thoughts and whenever I have an outburst of bad thoughts I immediately come to this meditation and it brings my mind to peace. Peace I haven’t felt in years no matter how much therapy I’ve gone through. If you have awful obsessive thoughts just know you are not alone. I know the urge that comes with those thoughts. Don’t give in to the urgency. You and your thoughts are separate- observe from afar do not get tangled up inside of them. You are NOT alone. Peace to you ❤️

I just woke up after not sleeping for like over 24 hours tossing and turning after wanting to get myself off a medicine called Seroqual which I have been on for years and they make you drowsy so I always had sleep now ahh nope so I put this on and thought nah its not working my thoughts are about to pop out of my head and I woke up and saw that it played the whole way until the end. I will keep it up as it helps you and many others I have read about. I'm sorry you have been down or still going through the horrible stuff I have been my whole life and I wish you all the very best. Thanks again. I really liked that Michael read yours and put a heart there..sorry I'm not use to the terminology of you tube words. This video helped me relax during that dark time in my life and it helped me sleep. You still come out with new videos and thank you for continuing to do so. I always come back to this one because of how impactful it was for me and I always recommend this to others as well.

This has changed my life completely and is hands down my favorite guided meditation. I have struggled with chronic nausea and anxiety, but this guided meditation has changed that completely. I once was so sick I couldn’t even keep down food. I was constantly anxious. Now when I feel sick, I put on this guided meditation and it completely relaxes my stomach and makes the nausea go away. No doctor has been able to figure out why I was so sick, and I think it was all about past traumas and current fear mindset. This meditation got me out of that loop of ruminating thoughts and healed me beyond what most doctors could do. Forever thankful for this!!!!!! I recommend it to everyone. 💜

I have been meditating for 4 months now & guys let me tell you that I definitely notice a difference from the way I feel to the things I do. Its crazy to think that I workout every other day at home on my own no excuses, I have more energy, I find myself being happy and really appreciating life, i love to learn, read, & nature! I am so proud of myself I can’t tell you guys how much change I have made in such little time! I still have my moments and I promise this has not been a walk in the park. I had to rearrange my WHOLE life in order to get here. So guys fight for your happiness search for things that will help you. Also build new good habits and remain consistent even when it gets hard. Remember you are loved and we’re here to help one another, we got this!

I really recommend for anyone who has anxiety to listen to this. I recently relapsed after 69 days sober and I've been feeling terrible anxiety after being sober again for the past two days. Today I felt like I had no one to talk to and I was just crying and crying all day I couldn't even think. But this really really helped. Thank you.

The best suggestion I could give to anyone suffering with depression or addiction or anxiety or any other sense of dis-ease would be to go do something for someone else. No matter how small or how large. Help someone. Love unconditionally and pull yourself out of your head. It's easy to get swept up by our mental and emotional hangups. Just breathe. Trust. Love and know that no matter what the situation is at this moment in our lives that we are all going to be fine. We are limitless.

I am not one to write comments often, but here goes... I was afraid to do this, to feel the sensations of my body because that is what has been causing me so much mental turmoil, grief, and worry. Accepting the feelings as they come and go. Visualizing my thoughts outside of themselves was very effective for me. It is like watching leaves fall on a stream, then seeing them gently float away downstream, letting them go. I have not felt this encouraged in a long time knowing that I am more than my thoughts. I think I have been damming up a river of life that is supposed to flow freely. This was wonderful experience. I feel better. Thank you.

This really helps. My anxiety has been terrible recently. I realized today that the source of all my problems was my insecurities. I am in constant fear of physical danger and of rejection, which has taken a lot from my life. However, I'm just starting college now and becoming an adult, so I've decided that now is a great time to change. I've heard many good things about meditation and this exercise brought clarity to my thinking. I'll be coming back here again, I want to make meditating a habit.

After the first time I listened to this it helped. After the 10th or so time it really helped. After that I was already exploring other methods of bringing peace into my life. Methods like meditation, yoga, simple walks or excercise, eating healthier, etc. It is a process but it all starts with simply breathing and giving yourself deep permission to relax. It all gets easier from there. Fellow anxiety strugglers please do not give up. Figure out a program that works for you and stick with it. Do something peaceful everyday and you will see change.

In my personal case overanalyzing situations is a survival mechanism because I live in a hostile environment with hostile people, and I feel I need to prepare for the blows they will land on me. Granted, I can never fully anticipate exactly how it's gonna go, but from my experience it's much harder to take the proverbial kick to the stomach if I'm not expecting it. So from time to time I really need these kinds of videos to relax and hopefully regenerate because living like this is extremely mentally and emotionally draining and takes a heavy toll on my physical health. These videos save lives, I'm sure of it.

Since my daughter fell asleep, I decided to meditate because lately my mind has been all over the place. I laid down on my living room floor, lit some relaxing candles and played the video. I felt so relaxed that I fell asleep however it was the sort of sleep where you can hear things around you and I remember listening to the mediation. I got up and I felt amazing. I looked in the mirror and smiled. I literally feel like the millions of things I had in my mind are gone. I feel so refreshed.

*honest review:* since beginning of 2017 i have been in a sad place. I overthink a lot & find it soo hard to let go of my chaotic thoughts which always turn into abruptive emotions like self-doubt & hatred towards myself. Until recent, I decided I need a better mindset, a clearer more healthier one. & I came across this & have been listening to this particular vid/audio for few days now & am really feeling like my train of thought is improving. I seriously feel like most of my unhealthy thoughts are fading. Am not sure if that is just me putting too much faith into this & being naive, but I do feel like this is actually healing me emotionally & spiritually

To whoever is reading this. Meditation is an exercise in which through the act of watching your breath it grounds you to this very moment. While in the moment you can watch where your mind goes and then let those thoughts go. With meditation you can realize the tendencies and thought patterns your mind takes you to. These tendencies have been learned and can be unlearned. I wish the best for all of you.

I had a therapist who did these types of exercises with me to heal from childhood trauma. It was more helpful than any other therapy I’ve had. Just helping me reconnect to the feelings of my body again instead of being so lost in all of the worries in my head.

This helped a great deal. The last few days I have had problems with shallow breaths and more rapid. It felt like having too much coffee but I did not have any today. So, anxiety showing itself again. I believe that meditation helps a great deal and I have become better at it. I need to train my mind to be more positive and less thinking of the worst case scenario. All the best to everyone on here having your own issues. It will pass...

I know. It's so frustrating when your mind continually wants to cook up the worst possible scenario about some situation in the future. Most likely it won't happen and if it does, thinking about it won't help....it just robs you of the happiness you could have today because your mind is so wrapped up in future events that haven't happened.... so I know just what you mean. Praying for you!💗

I have major health anxiety. Right now I am dealing with an actual health problem rather than one I’ve just made up out of paranoia. It’s scary....in my mind, making an appointment with a doctor is synonymous with signing my will, as I seem to be convinced that I have a fatal illness. As unrealistic as it may be, it’s hard to get out of this vicious and hurtful mindset. This video helps a lot. Thank you 🙏

not me! because the person you are today is because of that! people that struggle more with life sort of have an advantage if you look at it the right way, because if we can overcome what we went through and look and what we can become then you can do wonders, its so easy to look at the bad we all do because it was a massive part of our lives, but look at the right way and see what you can gain from it? maybe its becoming even more empathetic towards people that struggle aswell and help people, that really helps. but the person you are today is amazing and the fact that we have all come to this video to express out feelings and thoughts is great, i hope anyone that is reading this can overcome what ever they are going thorugh BECAUSE YOU ARE WORTH IT!!! xxxxxx

I have severe health Anxiety and Insomnia and I'm medicated, I keep ending up in hospital from severe panic attacks also. It takes me forever to fall asleep as I'm so aware of my sensations in my body... I listened to this and fell asleep no more than 10 minutes in, when I woke up I didn't feel as nervous as usual and overall once I came around properly I feel calmer and more relaxed. Going to try my hardest to make this a daily habit to try reregulate my sleeping but most of all my debilitating Anxiety. I've managed to get 4 hours of sleep, but 4 hours of good sleep which is a start on my journey to recovering. Going to try nod off again now and hopefully I wake in the same mood in the morning💜 Thank you. 🙏

To the people who struggle with Anxiety for years and years. Your time will come where it all goes away. Be nice to people, take care of yourself (the best you can) and never give up. I struggled with severe anxiety for 6 years, constantly a mess and making it through day by day. I keep my head focused to the best of my abilities, helped others and most importantly never gave up on those really hard days. I am now living with almost no anxiety… I don’t say this to brag friends, just to let you all know it’s possible to feel great again!

My anxiety has been so terrible lately I can’t sit still at my desk, I cry over everything, I’m constantly nauseous To the point I can’t eat and live off of tums and stomach medications. I absolutely love this meditation. I’m an Empath and a huge over-thinker. I’ve only used it for two nights in a row and I believe it’s helping to bring things to the surface for healing. I had a horrible nightmare after listening to it, but it was something that I had buried and didn’t deal with so it forced me to. I think I can find peace now. I’m going to listen to this every night. It’s also helping me sleep better! I’ve had such awful sleep issues for many years and I can only get through a few minutes of this meditation before I zonk out. I love Michael Sealey! His voice is just awesome.

I’m blown away at how calm and relaxed I feel after listening to this. Training our minds- meditation proves that we have so much power to alter our own realities. I was overthinking a situation, filled with anxiousness and fear but I have released those thoughts and I feel so in control and empowered to keep going. I would recommend this before any method out there that help ppl like me to chill out. Everything isn’t as bad as it seems. Gotta take the time to analyze, process, but also reprogram our minds when those negative thoughts are flooding it. God bless y’all! #itreallyworks
