I discovered Conquest when my coworker brought in some Wadruhn models to paint on his break. We got to talking about the lore (which was always my favorite part because I don't have to buy anything) and I found some of your videos on the Dweghom and the Spires. Your line about the dweghom "ding dong ditching the balrog" still makes me crack up. Models like this make me want to work some overtime so I can have an expensive new hobby!

While I don’t play conquest - that model is one of the things that has almost got me into it. I could see it also being used as some tyranid monster for 40k or a greater daemon in AOS.

When facing Dweghom I have a theoretical set list that revolves around this guy. The Smite key word is amazing! I do hope to get one soon, whether I am lucky enough to win the drawing, or eventually by saving up the money.

All my friends are excited about “Old hammer” but I’ve been there done that. I just discovered Conquest two weeks ago and Binged all your lore videos. Ive watched Bat reps. At the beginning I thought “The Spire” was unappealing but now I am hooked on them. They are going to be the faction I jump into. Keep up the awesome work! I just started a Spires army that I'm planning to paint red and white in honor of my favorite MTG character: The Mother of Machines herself, Elesh Norn! So like a New Phyrexian theme of red sinuous flesh with white metallic porcelain. The Spires were immediately my favorite at a glance, being very reminiscent of my favorite fantasy flesh machines. Huge fan of the lore as well, and this model is a beauty. Good luck to everyone!

Although I love the appeal of every faction in conquest, spires is the most unique and has most potential for the coolest models, IMO. This behemoth shows how different they are.

This is a very nice looking model. Parabellum also did a great job designing the rules to make it feel intimidating. When you get charged by this, your guys are absolutely scared of it.

I think this ones lore is also that it receives orders not through pheromones but through hearing. If you read into it a bit this is very much on purpose. This unit is highborn lineage only, and it burrows. In the world of the game, I think this creature probably exists as an enforcer to keep the underspire in line as much as a military tool.

I remember looking at the rules for this thing some time before it was announced. From that I was really curious how it would come out, and it's a lot cooler than I had imagined! I have no especially cool strategies or tactics in mind, not had the chance to play the game yet, but still seems like a fun thing to throw out at enemies. Well, fun for the person using it, anyway!

I'm currently in the process of studying the game and putting out feelers to my playgroup. One of the guys is having issues picturing the randomized reinforcement mechanics, but some others are pretty interested given the model range. Got my hand on the very first starter set + extra models, so I'll be giving Hundred Kingdoms and Spire a test run and using both to introduce the game to others.

All the "modern" conquest models are awesome. I am just starting with some first blood stuff and while spires are top of my list I keep waffling on picking them up in the next bit to pad a new faction.

I like the idea of the Siegebreaker with Burnout. Bump him up to M8 and C4. With inspire he's on 4's rerolling 6's, and he takes minimal Decay damage.

Wow! Honestly, I got into this channel for the AoS Lore Content(More specifically your videos on Soulbound) But I've just recently been falling in love with both Parabellum and Conquest! Honestly I think my favorite faction thus far is still the 100 kingdoms, as I love the Knight Aesthetic, but the spires are honestly just one of the best factions that I've seen in any fantasy setting, so I'm debating which army to start first! And uh, Entering, I suppose!

The Siegebreaker is an amazing model. I love that its design/lore is influenced by real world crustaceans! 🦐 I’d use it will a MSU chaff around the board to protect it so I can aim the “missile”!

I am a dweghom player and have been looking at starting a second army . Strongly considering Nords or Sorcerer Kings. But, the spires models always look so dang good. I could be swayed that way very easily.

The Siege Breaker is just so cool! I love how the inspiration for the unit is the mantis shrimp, aka why it has smite lol 😁 as a spires player, I would want the siege breaker to hit a unit in range of the marksman clones, because with their arcing fire you smash the unit with the siege breaker and then they can finish it off losing no volleys if they take aim 👍

While I love the lore, the sculpts and the variety of factions, I don't really care for the scale of Conquest. It's hard to use those models in other games as they just dwarf any other models. Finding terrain to match that scale is difficult too. Often my units stand towering over the scatter terrain and trees that litter the board. However, the one thing I do love about the scale is that it's much easier to paint. I'm getting older, my eyes are not what they used to be and it's much easier to hold onto and paint Conquest minis.
