Nice 1 Rick, just keep positive, 1 day at a time and try not to be your worst critic. The girls as always are adorable. The problem with those portable Air Conditioners is that unless you can vent the hot air coming from the exhaust at the back then there basically useless. I know this from owning 1. Take care mate.

Move and get aircon, it would be worth it. That aircon you have that your kind dad brought, needs to vent to outlet outside (I think) so it would not get so humid. all the best

The isolation is what's hard, it contributes to the forever lurking black dog. You are and always be a good dad n mum cos you both have fantastic parents. Everything is going as planned, even if you didn't plan it. It's called destiny and karma. You have many good thing's and experiences coming in the future. Worth looking forward too. We, the subscribers, are privileged and also looking forward to being alongside you as you navigate through the coming year's. It goes so darn fast, it won't be long till you're holding your grandies in your arms. Then, after all the hard work of raising your kids, when they're all grown up, and they're proudly showing their new babies to you, it's so rewarding. As the twins personality develops.. and it is a hug .. an awareness of dad.. consistency .. a routine. .. things will just get better and be so much fun.. so many things to look forward to as you outlined. Your missus to be.. is a natural it seems.. can not hurt either. Anxiety is real.. and it can make you doubt yourself... and lose confidence.. and things can be really overwhelming. You are doing all the right things - exactly the same way as a single Mum would ! Secondly, I understand how you feel when picking them up from the Thai family - this is normal, but your positive attitude and confidence is getting stronger each time. The twins need you first and foremost! Their bedroom is perfect! That’s how it should be in my opinion…..the girls are adjusting and doing very well. I bet your Mum is very proud of you ! I think maybe you get anxiety when you go to the x in laws house because that is where you lived with your first wife and I’m sure her family as well bring back thoughts. Your doing wonderful and you are a good person. The girls look so much like you now that they’re getting big and running all over I can really see the resemblance. The babies are more comfortable with you now since they spend more time with you now and they’ve bonded well with you and your doing amazing. Parenting is a learn as you go thing really. I’m the same introvert in real life unless I’m comfortable with people.. Not many lol
