As a viola playing in high school this motivates me to just practice more and more seeing what can truly be done on a viola if I continue to grow and get better

It sounds more like a bumblebee on viola. Violin is more like a honeybee.

I love how relatable the constant swing between confidence and complete self doubt is

If you can play it slowly...you can play it quickly!

It's true. Just new techniques once you go fast. :)

Presumably, you could do that with any piece that you chose. I mean now there are either kind of almost sacrilegious that it's a slow piece. It should never be played at speed.

6:34 being new to viola vs violin squabbles (from woodwinds), i can't help but hear that tempo and marvel at how neither instrument bursts into flames and becomes firewood from friction. Wow...

Something compels me to say this was a completely flawless rendition of this piece, think it might have been the smiles that confirmed the accuracy and grandeur that was your rendition

I'm glad I'm not the only one who always forgets to do dynamics! It usually takes me a couple of play-throughs before I add them in, and then I feel like I'm learning a whole new piece. Any tips? Merry Christmas! Ana

Practice in chunks of measures. My teacher stops me immediately. It’s not play the whole piece until it’s fine and then go back and change mistakes -it’s more- practice a few measure until it’s absolutely perfect and move on. The practice is most efficient this way!!❤

You know you have skills when lh pizz is a technique you use as a backup

For a total meme, it's actually an amazing piece. To get so much "nature" from a 4-string instrument.

Yeah- it really does sound exactly like a bee. I wouldn't need the title to be able to interpret it's emotion
