savage as always. love this build. feel like the only trouble i run into is sns or gs holding block the entire time. fletching through and getting a heavy on their back is nice but they just turn around and keep holding until a friend comes by to help them. u run into this a lot?

Look at the ten tips vs every weapon video I did if you wanna see how I deal with shield users, and if you have a GS spamming heavies in def stance, just move away from them and they will chase you and just push them and whittle down when they leave that stance

Why essence rupture? Does it heal when you swap weapon?

yes it stays on target on weapon swap, but it also gives you 15 stamina per hit, so you hit them with flurry its a full energy bar in a blink, so you can triple roll up to someone that is ruptured, scream them, flurry gg

You could for sure run IG with shower, storm and tomb - however you are losing the weaken, sustain and disease from VG, so if you did that I would put disease on your rapier instead of pen backstab

not with plagued no, you can craft a backstab vicious flurry with lifering rapier but that's it, you gotta craft it sadly!

@@ArtfulDoge leveled weaponsmithing just for this. was crafting with plagued crits and got the 700 plagued, keen, & leeching flurry on the roll. stoked af. idk y but even with putrified scream i just love reapplying that plague on lifestaff

You mention potentially running VG rapier in a war. As you probably already know heavy is pretty much the defacto equip load for melee assassin type builds. Do you think a heavy version of this build can work? Not having light dodge isn’t a super big concern given the movement that can be done on rapier.

On my server we have pretty much moved on from heavy already and I never ran it anyway - if you wanted to run rapier heavy or medium I would maybe just run it with spear because like you said the light roll is super important for this build! But I am running this is a war tonight so shall see how it is

@@ArtfulDoge Oh im jealous lol. yea its important especially as a feel thing, but with rapier you can get light dodge distance from a heavy dodge from an animation cancel

@@ArtfulDoge I have tried it in 1 opr and in some duels with friends it has a lot of chase and is very annoying but the damage is lacking just enough to where Im missing out on kills and ppl are able to reset. Granted the sustain is just ridiculous in heavy where im not even really worried they are gonna kill me

@@dquack7567 chasing people down in light is obviously much easier and also when you get slowing tether it sort of changes the game too, it's also super easy to land - the only annoying thing is sometimes rapier will stick to people quite well, other times you left animation locked hitting thin air

i love these build off meta. i run deep freeze full dps in pvp its quite fun with VG (spike, storm and windchill)
