Another beach home cooking hangout... but first, the guys enjoyed some beach break surfing here in Cateel. The ocean is starting to calm down, and the waves are better in front of our beach home. Besides the surf and chilled Davao Oriental vibes... we come together for some Filipino cooking. Our surfing friends down the road made salad, Kumar rocked fried chicken, and fish head soup...
And we learned that Jollibee has perfect rice? I will have to test that! :D

Hay Kulas swerte mo dyan kasi you can eat super fresh na isda. Lapu lapu is an expensive fish in the Philippines and more here in Canada ( frozen pa siya ) I used to eat that kind of fish when I was in the Philippines. I came from Mangagoy, Bislig Surigao del Sur but live here now in Calgary. Bakasyon mi dinha puhon sa pinas. Enjoy and pa shout out naman Mr. Kulas please. Thanks. Try fried suman, its much better than eating it straight. Unwrap the suman and fry it, then eat it with sugar or caramelized sugar.
