Years ago I went on a cruise to Alaska and most of the staff were from the Philippines. It was the same they worked 11 mos and one month off. It broke my heart to know that many of them are away from their loved ones that long. They are very good respectful kind workers. You can always rely on a Filipino worker. They are trustworthy and do a good job.

@@BecomingFilipino Roughly half of the nursing and support staff where I work are Filipinos. So much so that Phil. independence day is celebrated every June and everyone of them chips in for lechon and karaoke for all. I got a call one winter midnight due to heating failure. Later as I was washing the industrial grease off my hands, the Filipina nurse supervisor came over to the maintenance shop and gave me coffee. And then one of the aides came over with a balot and two pieces of rice sweets wrapped in banana leaves. Really good that I now order the rice sweets as my contribution every time I get invited to a gathering, and it is always a big hit. The girl is from Ilocos.

So many beautiful ancestral homes in Naujan and the best part is that they all seem to be in good condition and being lived in. It is so sad to see them in other cities where they are in such disrepair and looking as though they're just waiting for the day when they will collapse under their own weight. The town of Naujan may be small but it looks like a very nice place to visit. What an amazing church Simbahang Bato is. Truly one of the most unique churches anywhere! Casa Gracia's looked so magical with all of the lighted parols hanging all about..

They are selling fish on the beach and they had a fish that looked like goldfish with a yellow scales 🐠🐠🐠🟡🟡🟡➡🏝🏖⛱🌊🌊🌊 And they are not using dynamite fish anymore they use net to catch the fish because dynamite fishing is harmful to the ocean's environment 🧨🚫➡🐟🐟🐟🐠🐠🐠🌊🌊🌊 And they had a coffee stand and they named it maestro because the owner's father that was deceased was a teacher. Maestro is referring to a male teacher and maestra is referring to a female teacher 👨💼👩💼 They used that term for teachers who are the teacers in musical education 👨💼👩💼➡🎺🎹🎸🪗🎷🪕🎻🥁🪘🎼🎵🎶 And you had some coffee on the store ☕ And you had strings of saliva in your mouth when I see people eat or drink with there strings of saliva in there mouth feels like I'm not gonna eat or drink anymore because it reminded me of my brother who drooled in my cake when I was little on my birthday which was the grossest moment in childhood 🤤➡☕ And the stone church was built in the 17th century and it was made from beach stone ⛪ And the chandeliers are made of wood. And the fence was made of beach stones.
