I fell in love with a junkie at my teenage years. I loved him a lot and wanted to protect him but i didnt know how and ended up pressuring him too much.We ended up hurting eachother so bad and when he left i was scarred for life.i miss him alot and i wish i could have been there for him when he needed me the most.this podcast made me cry.i am not in the shoes but i know where it pinches. I never have the patience and time to sit and listen to anything that’s more than 5 mins long. But this was a very heart to heart convo for anybody who are struggling, any kind of struggle in life! What I learned from this particular podcast - They say everything happens for a reason, it’s all our mindset!!! You can hit a rock bottom but you can also come up from it better than ever if u have a right heart, mind and people around you ! I can see Sanjay dai really cares about him and it was so good to see that! It was good that Sanjay started with his story of addiction of smoke and trying few things. I think it helped Laure to open up as well. Rather than being judged it was more of sharing each other vulnerability. Laure, please keep up with being clean. It maybe 6% recovery rate but its not 0, which means its not a miracle! Its a reality that can achieved. It depends on you if you can achieve it or not. Getting out of addiction is very difficult and you are achieving it. As your fan, I am so proud of you!
