Her cameraperson should have FOLLOWED ALONG BETTER with her SLIDESHOW but overall, i LOVE her delivery, complete with sarcasm to loosen the subject up. Thank you, Susan!!

Pofessional treatments are over the top "unaffordable" and even those do not always work.

After suffering bedbugs for months, I finally found salvation through lightly dusting all their hiding places with diatomaceous earth (non-edible version). It's truly the most effective solution, and cheap too.

tell ya'll what I did. had company then heard they had bed bugs. Couple days later got bit and thought oh no. Husband was in bed sick and didnt have long to live so already worked to death I had to get busy though. I had his bed already moved to livingroom and I slept in recliner so I was close to kitchen and his bathroom and him. I took a torch and went around all baseboards and then chaulked them. dont leave torch but just a second it will kill them and eggs. I removed baseboards first.}then lifted flap on chairs and couch and torched them too plus all seams then sprayed all of it with ammonia. vacummed everyday and sprayed ammonia in vacumm cleaner hose so they dont escape if you suck any up . put diatomatius earth in vacumm bag. took pillows out in plastic bags so sun would kill anything that might be on them and left them a few days. Also big heavy covers. plastic bags heats up pretty quick. sheets and stuff smaller went in washer. I also got husband out of bed to wheelchair and went around all his mattress seams with torch and sprayed bed with ammonia while he got his bath, Checked his bed everytime I got him up. check all mattresses every day in seams and I took all my pictures out of frames checked them. but oh what I went through. After its over you still look for months for fear. They didnt get bad and I only seen 2 but as soon as you think you might have them get busy. I checked with flashlight husbands bed and walls and under his bed all night long. I thought this would kill me before its over, I couldnt rest or sit for 5 minutes without looking for them. the thought of bedbugs tramatizes people. please scientist do something

To the cameraman. When she turns you turn and show the screens better. Very informative speech but the cameraman not showing the slides or a tiny portion of half of two photos by the time you think you know what you're looking at the cameraman goes back to her... absolutely ridiculous a kindergartner could have done a better job....

oh another thing if you put plastic casing on mattress then you cant heat mattress seams but bugs can still get to you. They lay eggs in cracks and seams. If you got kids be careful with sprays and stay away till it dries .Its been about 3 years now and no sign of anything.

I have bb, but I can't find the source. It's driving me absolutely crazy especially because my mother doesn't care. She truly does not care that they are living somewhere in my room. It really hurts me and my building is not helping either by getting an exterminator. He was supposed to come to throw cross fire but he has not come. I'm already so stressed because of this. I don't think my life will ever be the same. This is so traumatic.

so what works is cimexa dust and neem oil
@amandalong5916

These two things are exactly what worked for me. Cimexa is a god send & they really seem to hate neem oil (I’ll admit it smells awful lol, but it works really well).

Is it a good idea to dry things that are infested with bug outside in the hot sunligh??
@dpats54

It’s gotta be pretty hot. Living here in Florida I’ve wrapped things in a black tarp and it works good
@gaIexy

No, that won't work. They need to have a *sudden* change in temperature in order to kill them. If you just change the temperature of your house or take them outside on a hot day, it won't affect them. They need this sudden change in temperature to be sustained over 6 to 8 hours, and it has to be very intense heat.

@@tenzattaboy3482 Definitely give it a try! It might work. Doesnt hurt to test it out. If it doesn't work tho, I'd reccomend getting one of those anti bed bug covers and put them on both your mattress and the box spring, that will suffocate them eventually (they hibernate but will eventually die very slowly), and after doing that, wash all your fabrics in high heat and dry them in high heat. And make sure you have no clutter cause they're good at hiding. I hope this all helps!

In black plastic, and leave it for a year. They can live quite long without eating. Some say up to 5 years.
