What a real bugger….I’m a clean freak, and I use a hand held steamer on my bedding and give it a shot of hot steam then I use the bug/pet hair attachment on the vacuum if there any of those little suckers. I never hang my washing on the line…birds love leaving “messages”…..I use a dryer on the hot setting…..I’m allergic to bees etc so I have to be cautious.

Years ago me and my family had bedbugs they came from the air vent we had the council sort them out luckily we dont get them now and we think they came from next door so they were in the uk years ago

We have bed bug infestation years ago ‘ a lot of them I did not notice until I have bite all over I thought it was just allergies coz I have it each morning on my hands ‘ Luckily I get rid of them without exterminator’We did it our selves’Wash your beddings and dry them in direct sunlight or tumble dry on high temperature’ put plastic under the bed stand ‘ they can not climb on plastic’ put bed away from side walls so they won’t reach the bed and spray with alcohol they die directly from it’ scrape crevices or vacuum it. Do day to day cleaning and used atm to scrap corners of cabinet for egg ‘so they die ‘Hope this will help’ have a goodnight sleep’

I know how you feel. This has nothing to do with wether you are a clean person or not, it's not if you're going to get them it's when. The Bedbugs come mainly from European countries. They have migrated and all you can really do is control them. If you move you might take them with you or they are where you are moving to. Good luck, and reply if you need any help. Im a qualified pest controller and I would have taken control of that conversion. You havnt explained things properly. #1 tip. When you return from travel put all your clothes in a black garbage bag and put in the sun. Be very careful but the damage is already done. Sucks to be you. 😂
