Lol...great job on the truck mate...mine came in at 2.2t on the weighbridge for the blue slip...I left the sides on and have 75mm bars at the front and back....

I bought some Trefolex when I last saw you using it as my old cutting compound from twenty years ago finally ran out. I was using the Trefolex on a drill bit the other day when my welder mate came around and he said that’s a big no no- he reckons it is carcinogenic and should only be used with hand tools, which upon investigation I found it to say that on container. He went out and bought me a different brand which is made for power tool use, it works great and I am no longer worried about my lungs haha Maybe look into it mate. Loving the build it’s looking so good! My 45 has stalled while I do work on the caravan and some other stuff but I can’t wait to get back on it Cheers

Cheers for taking the time to comment mate, happy to learn something and yeah your right it says it straight on the side of the tin to not use in high temps Situations 😂 I’ll rectify that one in an upcoming ep. That’s why I’m trying to make it a build channel of how I do it, and not a how to do it channel, as sometimes my actions can be risky and incorrect 😂

I second that mate I was told the same thing with that trefolex when I was in the trade don’t heat it hand tools only but trefolex also do a more liquid cutting fluid that’s is rated for power cutting 👍🏼

@@patronan3423as a side note … Trefolex is good for getting red dust impregnated paint work back to new … Particularly white paint Just make sure you get fresh stuff with no swarf in it Old trick from my hammersley iron days …

Cracking Ep the old girl come up lovely, Iam not a fan of steel trays to fing heavy, I love Alloy trays like MMM two blokes can lift easy and no rust and the 4wd is so much better on fuel.

One thing with these old utes is they sometimes require the weight of steel tray to make the suspension work properly- depends I guess if you have heaps of stuff in the alloy tray or a canopy etc
