@@unowhotravelchannel Oh no, hope your body recoups! I git plantaar fisciitis from over walking during the pandemics. Tried to be in great shape to avoid hospitals but backfired instead....1 and half years of unable to walk more than frw blocks at a time. I recommend arch support and super thick soft soles!!! Take care if your body and have a wonderful weekend 😎 👍

Just picked this up after getting home from camping again . You did so much in one day, all of the fells and wow 12 miles and it was beautiful. We have never been up there but would like to .The weather wasn't too bad for you then either. Loved all of the little areas of water and/ or lakes and it was interesting like you said how as you walked, the landscape changed. Loved the 360 view when you arrived at Place Fell . Its a shame you have not had the best of weather on this trip, especially on this walk as they are some great summits in one of my favourite part of the Lakes. It's always a pull up to Place Fell and as that was 4th of the day, you both did really well, especially with a couple of false summits as well😋. Place fell has always been one of my all time favourite summits and together with Blencathera, that one I have climbed the most over the years, good to see the weather improved for you as well.
